Yes, of course you’re welcome to discuss other trivia, contests, and sweepstakes topics here! You don’t have to piggyback off of other existing threads either. You can create a new/separate thread for Triton trivia or other appropriate topics. Let me or one of the other mods know if you need any help setting anything up.
Thank you so much! I’m not sure what we should do. Our newspaper is dropping Triton trivia as of 12/31 and has created its own separate rewards program. Some of us on this thread would like to continue our community. So it might become a blend of the national Triton/ClearChannel stuff (which users would earn through a different media outlet still using that trivia program) and info relating to our local newspaper’s rewards program. Or maybe we could post only the SacBee Rewards stuff on this thread, and have a link in the OP to the thread where the national stuff is discussed, with a link to at least one media outlet still offering the Triton/ClearChannel program. We probably at least should change the name to “Sacramento Bee Loyalty Club (SacBee Rewards fka BeeBuzzPoints)” (I haven’t checked to see whether that’s something I can do myself).
You’re welcome. I’m not at all familiar with Triton and only skim the ClearChannel thread for prohibited content so I’m barely familiar with that one either. If Triton is already covered in the ClearChannel thread, just participate in/follow the existing thread rather than creating a new redundant thread. In that case, your idea of just adding a link to the OP of this thread to the existing ClearChannel thread would be exactly perfect.
However, you guys are a long running, tight knit group. This thread includes a lot of discussion and help/tips… and even personal life updates that I don’t see going on in the ClearChannel thread (everyone there just posts facts like answers, winners, etc.). So, if the majority of this group agrees (and contrary to the general discouragement of off topic posts), I’d suggest you all post your Triton facts in the existing ClearChannel thread but feel free to continue to discuss Triton in this thread with your “local” group.
How things change doesn’t have to be set in stone. You all can try different things and make modifications/tweak as needed to devlop a solution that works best for most.
The OP (original poster) can edit the thread title just like you edit any other post. When you click “Edit” under the 3 vertical dots in the OP (original post), the topmost line of the text editor is the title… you can edit it just like you edit the body of your post.

We’ll see how things develop. I really hope that most of the group will stick around for at least a bit longer! (And am bummed about those who are planning to leave.)
