RE: SYWR Points Back with Purchase Offers Thread
FYI, Sears seems to have a deal going on for $10 back in points on $10 of anything for store pickup. I didn’t see it advertised anywhere (yet), nor have I tried the offer, but $10 points show up in my cart if I have anything $10+ set for store pickup.

@my4mainecoons I visited my local Sears store in PA and they had the signs up for the $50/$50 deal. My store is on the most recent closing list, btw.
You can do the deal once online and once in store - they are separate deals. My store is on the list of 142 too but has not started liquidation yet, so all the deals still work as normal there, for now.

RE: SYWR Points Back with Purchase Offers Thread
Wow! I did finally get a response from SYW’s email. The English is not good, and it is obviously an offshore agent. But they manually credited me last week’s $250/$250 deal as a lump sum!!! I don’t know if their system isn’t sophisticated enough to manually award future installments or if these new email reps (I really don’t think they are the same as they used to be - even in recent weeks, I had been getting emails back with flawless English, and this week is the first time I did not) just don’t know how, but I can’t complain! I’m still shorted some points because the rep didn’t understand/notice the extra appliance flash sale bonus offer I should have gotten, but getting these points credited as a lump sum more than makes up for that. Already spent the points too.

SEARS: $60 back on $60 and $75 back on $75 in Home. 3 installments. First posts 24 hrs after purchase and the next ones on the 20th of the month. Since offer goes until 10/20 one could purchase on 10/19 and have 2 sets of points posting on the 20th, the first & 2nd installments.
In theory one could do both offers on Oct. 19 and on Oct. 20 have $20, $20, $25, $25.
There is $60 back on $60 for Sears home and $75 back on $75 for Sears home appliances, lawn & garden, and sporting goods (I think these are even 3 separate deals, so in theory you could do all of them once each). Are these the deals you are referring to, or is there another $75 back on $75 for Sears home?
Kmart has $75 back on $75 sitewide as well on a similar timeline as those Sears deals (3rd installment for the Kmart deal comes on 12/23 instead of 12/20). By the way, the 2nd installment doesn’t post on 10/20; it posts on 11/20 for all of these deals.

RE: SYWR Points Back with Purchase Offers Thread
@my4mainecoons Thanks! A relative informed me also that there is an in-store deal for $20 back on $50 in tools through 11/17.
Looking into the future, the BF ads have 100% back (up to $50) at Kmart, 11/22-11/25. Points credit 11/27 and expire 12/3.
Sears will have $50 back on $50, 11/22-11/23 only, and looks like it may be in-store only too. Points also credit 11/27 and expire 12/3.
The online + in-store Sears offer for the weekend will be $250 back on $250, 11/22-11/25, but those points will come in $25 installments over 10 weeks. Pass for me on that one.

RE: SYWR Points Back with Purchase Offers Thread
Do we know what all the Marketplace points offers are this week? I think $40 back on $40 for Bestone, Topselling, Wondershopping, Exacme, Appliances Connection, and various jewelry vendors are all ending 12/1. Did I miss any?
(Of course, maybe nobody cares anyway because nobody else ever seems to do these Marketplace deals. I’ve done a lot of them over the months, and I actually really like them: the points credit reliably and relatively quickly (7 days, all in one installment), and many vendors don’t even charge sales tax. A minority of times, the vendor would ship me the wrong product or never ship me the product at all, but we all know that happens with Sears directly too. Either way, any time something’s gone wrong for me, contacting the vendor about it has usually corrected the problem; the two times that a vendor was unresponsive to me, I was able to get Sears to step in and refund me without much hassle. The majority of times, I get what I ordered at a fantastic price (due to the points back effectively making it “free” or heavily discounted), and this expands the product selection far beyond what Sears offers. Can’t pay with points of course, but GCs work fine, so I don’t view it as much different than doing a Sears/Kmart points offer, other than I can’t return the product in store, I guess…but I very rarely return stuff anyway.)

RE: SYWR Points Back with Purchase Offers Thread
There’s no additional $3 back. Those are just your $3 freecash you get each month from SYW Max.
-
RE: SYWR Points Back with Purchase Offers Thread
Got an email that the in-store deal this week at Kmart is $10 back on $30, through 12/14. Also they will have a code to scan for 15-20% off everything except grocery & seasonal, through 12/24 (online it is code YULE).
I am so spoiled with all the $75 back on $75 (granted, in 3 installments) that Kmart had for a while. Kudos to them for coming back down to earth and trying to stanch the bleeding, but it’s difficult to motivate myself to buy on these promos now.

RE: SYWR Points Back with Purchase Offers Thread
My Sears is closing this Sunday. They still have big signs up saying they accept points, just not freecash/coupons. The original associates are still there (I dropped by today just to say goodbye to them , and all of the ones I was hoping to see were there - I was glad to hear though that most are actually moving to other area stores, so I may still see them again), along with a few new ones whom I assume were either brought in by the liquidators or were hired “seasonally” due to the uptick in customer traffic that the liquidation brought in.
Notably, my store has a huge selection of oriental rugs, which they never sold prior to liquidation. I assume the liquidators last worked a big rug store. But seriously, around half of the inventory that my store still has (used to be 3 floors, now down to about half the 1st floor) is oriental rugs now, and nobody is interested in them. (They are marked as being 80% off with an additional 20% off in the final days, but they kind of started at $1000+ original prices…) I also noticed that the employees manning the rug area are all ones I don’t recognize, so it truly feels like they are just renting out half the store to some failed rug store.
I had dropped by on Tuesday too, and I believe the max discounts were 75% then. Today they were 80%. But a lot of larger items like fitness equipment and furniture had tags on them that were more discounted than that. For example, I saw a big patio table that was reg $499.99 marked down to $25 (not sure if it was a display model possibly - when I saw it, it was in a box, but it had a sold sign on it already). I have heard that on the final day, they may go to 90%, but possibly not at open - it might only happen a few hours into the day, and they might close earlier than expected too. But my store really doesn’t have a lot of quality merchandise remaining, and I don’t think those rugs will be any good even at 90% off.
Totally random story: one of the associates who’s been working at my store for nearly two decades is around 80 years old. I had figured with the store closing, perhaps he could finally enjoy a peaceful retirement. Today when I went to wish him well, he wanted to show me the big orange “sold” sticker on his name badge. The “buyer” is listed as another area store - he will be starting work there next week! I truly loved interacting with some of the associates at this store over the years; some of them certainly had great senses of humor!
-
RE: SYWR Points Back with Purchase Offers Thread
@my4mainecoons Fascinating. I had even considered heading back on Sunday to potentially pick up a rug (only because I would be able to use points/Sears GCs to pay, whereas I wouldn’t be able to do so at a real rug store), but in light of that info, I am guessing there is no real deal to be found in those rugs. Come to think of it, during my lifetime, I have also seen a disproportionate number of liquidations involving rug stores and even at some point vaguely thought to myself, “Poor rug stores, they never seem to survive.” Seems this is all part of their survival tactic to begin with. How truly bizarre. I wonder what it is about rugs that would make this type of scam work better for them than other lines of products.
I agree, the best deals remaining are probably just in the apparel, if you have the patience to paw through everything to find something that fits.

RE: SYWR Points Back with Purchase Offers Thread
My Sears had apparel at basically 97% off today (80% off first and then an additional 85% off that). But it was pretty difficult to find anything that fit or was desirable at all. I pulled one shirt off the rack and discovered it only had one sleeve. I bought a plain white shirt (pretty much the only thing I could find that wasn’t ripped/hideous or XXL) for 30 cents, lol.
I’m not even sure what the other products were priced at because there was barely anything remaining…most non-apparel items were either broken or untagged (or rugs, of course). There was a box of Craftsman single wrenches, all the same size, like hundreds of them. The sign next to them only said 50% off (don’t know if true or not, but I’m guessing that’s why they didn’t sell). By the way, the rugs never got majorly marked down either. The ones that had been $165 on Friday were $150 today.
Sometimes I just wish I were…bigger. Probably some really good deals to be had in XXL sizes. 97% off is pretty insane, no matter the retail price. At least I got to say goodbye to a couple more associates I didn’t see the other day. Found out they’re headed to area stores too. I’m going to be so sad for them if those stores all end up on the chopping block later this week.

Members get 100% CASHBACK in points on select Craftsman items in 5 equal weekly installments. 1st installment of points issued next day after transaction and expire after 7 days. Following 4 subsequent installments issued every Monday starting 2/11/2019. Points valid for 7 days after issuance. Offer valid 1/29/2019 through 2/2/2019.
But they appear to be using the $10 back on $40 as part of the 100% back. I already did that offer, so my account only shows $90 back on a $100 item, not $100.
-
RE: SYWR Points Back with Purchase Offers Thread
By the way, there doesn’t appear to be a limit to how many of those 100% Craftsman items you can buy. So if you buy, for example, 3 of them, you could use a $35 off $300 and get nearly $60 a week in installment points. It’s tempting, but I’m just not sure I need those items enough…
-
RE: SYWR Points Back with Purchase Offers Thread
Seems they’ve prematurely replaced that Craftsman offer with this (which is valid on all items):

@my4mainecoons Ibotta is via portal for online purchases. Occasionally they have had receipt uploads for Sears in-store purchases, but not often (and not currently). Ibotta’s online Sears exclusions include hardline and softline home though. So if you are wanting to do the $45 back on $45 home deal, RMN may be best anyway as most portals exclude Sears home for some inexplicable reason.

RE: SYWR Points Back with Purchase Offers Thread
@my4mainecoons said in SYWR Points Back with Purchase Offers Thread:
@lo When we were getting 100% back in pts last year my points did not post until I picked the item up at the store. Based on your post I checked the accts and found points had posted to both accts and will expire tomorrow! None of the items were available in the store.
Ship-to-store Sears items do not require pickup to post the points. They will post points within an hour of ordering, even if you never pick up. Sears items that are available in the store do require pickup to receive the points. Likewise, all Kmart items (whether available already or ship-to-store) ordered to Kmart will require pickup to receive points, but Kmart items shipped to a Sears will post points when the item is shipped. So if your previous items didn’t post points until you picked them up, they were simply ordered a different way - either as already-available items, or they were Kmart items picked up from Kmart. (Note though that Sears items shipped to Kmart actually post within an hour of ordering too. I think I’ve covered all the possible combinations now!)
In summary, this is when points will post:
Sears item already available at Sears: when you pick up
Sears item shipped to Sears: within an hour of order submission
Sears item shipped to Kmart: within an hour of order submission
Sears item shipped from authorized supplier/warehouse to home: within an hour of order submission
Sears item shipped from Sears store to home: when the item is marked ready for shipping (usually shortly before you receive the shipped email)
Kmart item already available at Kmart: when you pick up
Kmart item shipped to Kmart: when you pick up
Kmart item shipped to Sears: when the item ships
Kmart item shipped to home: when the item ships
Any Sears or Kmart Marketplace item: within minutes of order submissionIf there’s an additional modifier like points not becoming available until “next day,” then the points become available according to the above schedule OR the next day after you order (at midnight Central), whichever of the two is later.
Yes, if you have $30 points and $10/25 FC, a $40 item will use them all up.

Personal Shoppers let you order anything with free shipping, even cheap items paid for entirely with points. The caveat is that they only work M-F 9-5:30 CT so you’d either have to catch your PS during that time period via the app chat or phone, or I guess maybe email them and hope they can place your order before the price goes up or something. It’s a free service, you just have to sign up for a PS and be willing to interface with a human to get your free shipping.

@ukedog said in SYWR Points Back with Purchase Offers Thread:
So when I ask my PS to order a single $2.99 t-shirt from Kmart, all paid with SYWR points, should I expect some pushback?
I’ve never done it myself, have merely heard from others (though I do have a PS since they had offered $10 bonus points a while back for signing up - and even my PS has sent me emails in recent weeks encouraging me to order through her because she can provide free shipping with no minimum). But from what I gather, there shouldn’t be any pushback as long as you’re not doing it extremely frequently. Once every week or two is likely no problem. I’ve heard that if you try to “overuse” your PS though, you might have to start calling them instead of chatting/emailing. The person who mentioned that to me was vague about it though, so I’m not exactly sure what happens if you “overuse” the PS…like do they just stop responding to you?

RE: SYWR Points Back with Purchase Offers Thread
I know some of y’all only really have access to Hometown stores - be forewarned that changes seem to be coming, and it appears that most points (i.e., bonus points) won’t be redeemable at Hometown stores anymore. The SYW site already has a separate section showing how many points you can redeem at Hometown vs Sears/Kmart (although it is glitchy), and this was added to the FAQ:
There are 3 types of points:
Shop Your Way Points: Members earn a base 1% back in points on every $1 spent at all Redemption Partners
Current List of Redemption Partners: Sears, Kmart, SHOBonus Points powered by Shop Your Way: Members earn varying points from Redemption Partner specific offers and promotions. Members can earn these points after a transaction is made. Bonus Points are only redeemable at the Redemption Partner where the points were earned. Bonus points can be combined with Shop Your Way points when redeeming where the Bonus Points were earned.
FREECASH powered by Shop Your Way: Members can earn even more from Redemption Partners with FREECASH offers. FREECASH are limited time offers that have specific requirements, like a minimum purchase, a quick expiration date or a certain category of items to redeem them on. FREECASH are only redeemable at the Redemption Partner where the points were earned.

RE: SYWR Points Back with Purchase Offers Thread
@mrvietnam You can’t use points online on grocery items anymore, but you can use them in-store on grocery items. Clearance is no problem. You can no longer use bonus points (i.e., large amounts of points earned from various promotions, as opposed to the base points earned from 1% of spend) at Hometown and Outlet stores.

RE: PSA: Sears to NOT liquidate all stores (OFFICIAL)
@ctgolfer Are you asking about the stores that have already been announced to be closing? (Should be 80-something at this point - the first 182 since the filing should have already closed, and the 80 most recently announced are closing in March - plus there have been a handful of additional stealth closings since.) No, closed and closing stores are not staying open; they will still be closed on the previously announced timelines.
If that was merely commentary on the fact that Sears has been advertising their deals since the New Year as a “blowout sale” and reducing associate hours as expected since the holidays, then yes, most of the existing open stores will remain open for now - should number 425 of them minus the few recent stealth closures.

RE: SYWR Points Back with Purchase Offers Thread
Offer valid 3/24/19–4/6/19. Members get $60 CASHBACK in points in 6 weekly installments when you spend $60 or more on qualifying purchases at select Sears stores and on items sold by Sears at sears.com. First $10 in points issued within 48 hours after purchase and are valid for 7 days. Subsequent payments of $10 in points issued every Sunday starting 4/14/19. Maximum $60 in points per member. Limit one CASHBACK in points offer per order. Limit one per member.
Different set of fine print says:
Members get $60 CASHBACK in points total in 6 weekly installments when you spend $60+ at Sears. 1st set issued same day, then every Sun starting 4/14. Points valid for 7 days. Limit 1. Cannot Combine
So it’s not clear whether the first installment comes same day or in 2 days, but I guess that’s a relatively minor thing anyway. I like this one though. The points will stack on top of all the other 10-week deals I already did in the past, but since this is a 6-week deal, I’m not pushing forward the end date of my weekly commitment to Sears yet again.

RE: SYWR Points Back with Purchase Offers Thread
@my4mainecoons said in SYWR Points Back with Purchase Offers Thread:
How do you think my points will post? Will I have $30 to spend and then $15?
I’m supposed to receive an order tomorrow so I presume pts will be available as soon as UPS marks it as delivered. That will be March 20. Do you think the 2nd installment will post on March 21?
Another order is supposed to be available for pickup at the store on Thurs March 21. Pts should be available the day after I pick it up. Can’t pick up until Friday March 22. So pts should be available on Saturday March 23. Will the following week’s pts post on March 28?
Umm, based on how you’ve described your orders, both should have already given you the first installment. Ship-from-store Sears items post points when the order is shipped, and Sears authorized supplier items post points within an hour of submitting the order. Delivery has nothing to do with points posting, regardless of what Sears’s emails or CSRs say. For the second order, Sears ship-to-store also posts points within an hour of submitting the order. Again, regardless of what Sears’s emails/CSRs say, pickup has nothing to do with points on ship-to-store orders (although it does have relevance on items that are already available from the store). If you haven’t already gotten your first installment on both of those orders, it seems like something is wrong.
(To clarify, when I’m using the term “post” here, I am referring to the points being shown as earned, not that they are necessarily available for use yet. Since the first installment was supposed to become available “next day,” the points for the second order should have been available the day after you ordered. On the first order, if it was an authorized supplier item, then those points should also have been available the day after you ordered. If it was a ship-from-store item, the points should have been available when the item shipped, unless that occurred the same day as the order, in which case the points should have been available the day after you ordered. In my experience though, Sears stores don’t tend to sit on orders for longer than a few hours (so if they are sitting on the order for more than 2 days, that is unusual too), so in all likelihood, even on the first order, the points should have been available the day after you ordered.)
Did you order more than one item per order? If so, depending on the source of each item, the orders may have gotten “split” and therefore not credited the points properly. That would likely need an email or phone call to SYW to sort out, but on the plus side, they’d probably just give all 3 installments in a lump sum.

Get $10 CASHBACK in points for every $50 you spend. Max. $30 in points per member.
Offer valid 3/3/19–4/6/19. Members spend $50 or more at Kmart stores and kmart.com and get $10 CASHBACK in points. Points credit to account within 24 hours and are valid for 7 days. Maximum $30 in points per member. -

@lo stack with SPRING for additional 10-15% off. I also had $10 in FC for spending $40 in Home.
Be careful with trying to use FC along with a coupon code like SPRING. It seems like the cart pretends it will let you use both, but then after submitting the order, it will just deduct from your actual points balance instead of the FC. Best to avoid applying any coupons if you intend to use FC.
Anyway, there is a new $150 back on $150:
Offer valid 3/10/19–3/23/19. Members get $150 CASHBACK in points in 10 weekly installments when you spend $150 or more on qualifying purchases at select Sears stores and on items sold by Sears at sears.com. First $15 in points issued within 24 hours after purchase and are valid for 7 days. Subsequent payments of $15 in points issued every Monday starting 3/25/19.
I personally caved and started just doing all of these offers to stack up the installments each week. I’m already getting $40 a week right now, so it’ll be even better to bump that up to $55 a week.
There is a new $10 back on $40 too:
Offer valid 3/10/19 - 3/16/19. Members get $10 CASHBACK in points when you spend $40 or more on qualifying purchases at select Sears stores and on items sold by Sears at sears.com. Points issued within 24 hours of purchase and are valid for 7 days. Maximum of $10 in points per member.

Something weird happened with Sears Hometown. I had points to use and went to Hometown to do the pay extra and get a gift card thing. Screen popped up and said I only had $2+ in points to use, when I had $11+ that was expiring. The owner couldn’t do anything about it and I went to Kmart and blew the points. Now my points screen on syw site shows I still have the $2+ to use at Sears Hometown and $25+ to use at sears, kmart, or syw. Eddie bought back hometown, so that might have affected things, but it appears any new points I earn (even the tire points that I still get for another month), I can’t use them at hometown. I haven’t tried to order anything from sears, to pick up at hometown. They are out of everything I really need and are having trouble getting anything from the warehouse.
Check my post upthread a bit (May 29). Bonus points earned from Sears/Kmart can’t be used at SHO anymore - including installment points that are still crediting from past purchases. Not the first time Sears has effectively changed the terms retroactively like that. Grocery items can’t be purchased online with points anymore either.

RE: SYWR Points Back with Purchase Offers Thread
@my4mainecoons Honest question - if you convert GC into points and then points back into GC, how do you cash out the GC? This is the conundrum I constantly have. I’ve already lost my Kmart, and I’m soon losing 3 out of the last 5 Sears within any sort of reasonable driving distance (<60 miles).

To my knowledge, they never shut off the ability to do that, only the ability to activate 3rd party GCs at all from their POS (and it wasn’t up to Sears, it was the 3rd party GC processor who did that)…so honestly I would be interested to hear even if anyone manages to buy a 3rd party GC with cash! This report makes me super hopeful, thanks briarycliffs!

@briarycliffs The site still says that, but that is not the actual deal attached to those items. The $100 back on $100 is.

RE: SYWR Points Back with Purchase Offers Thread
@my4mainecoons I suspect it’s $18 per week on most of the items (at least one of them would be less since it is $89.99 now), since $10 of the points are from the $10 back on $40 offer. If I were to do it, I’d probably get a C3 kit just to have a spare battery and charger for my existing C3 stuff. But I’m really not a fan of weekly installments, plus I’d like see how the court hearing goes next week before investing in any more future installments. I still have nearly $1000 in future points owed to me from stuff I bought dating back to last March.

RE: SYWR Points Back with Purchase Offers Thread
@mrvietnam I’m winning so far, aren’t I? When they filed for bankruptcy in mid-October, I had about $5000 “invested” in Sears in points, future points installments, and gift cards. I kicked myself heavily for having done so many installment deals and not having tried to cash out the gift cards earlier (they removed 3rd party gift cards from all stores 2 days after the WSJ article reported the impending filing, and I wasn’t able to get out to a store the 1st day). But then I continued to do the offers that came out, and I look at all the stuff I got for “free” even since the filing, and it’s a lot! If I’d quit before that, sure, I would’ve been less stressed out, but I also wouldn’t have all this nice stuff I’ve gotten since. I also realized that if I hadn’t done the installment deals I’d already done, then I wouldn’t have gotten all the nice stuff from those deals either and probably would’ve just been holding even more in gift cards. I haven’t done any long-term installment deals since the bankruptcy (they haven’t even existed for that matter - the company knew nobody would do them), but all of the future points installments I’m still waiting on are from offers months before the filing. I’ll be done with them in June if the company lasts that long. And even if they don’t…I moved to a new house a couple years back and all my appliances, furniture, housewares, decor, and tools for working around the house are from Sears. All the clothes I wear are from Sears too. I think I got plenty out of it.

RE: SYWR Points Back with Purchase Offers Thread
So true, in hindsight I wish I had done even more of the installment deals! I did do the majority of the ones that came up but often sat out some of the bigger ones like $400 back on $400 or anything that came in weekly installments instead of biweekly or monthly…but of course, as it turned out, I ended up at Sears pretty much every week anyway. And I’d forgotten about the automotive stuff too - outfitted a few different cars in new tires and batteries as well. Also got several sets of major appliances over the past couple years since I was shopping for a couple households - 2 fridges, 2 washers, 2 dryers, and a dishwasher. Went all out on my own fridge too and got a counter-depth French door with slim in-door icemaker…I’d only ever had white top-freezer fridges before. Sears has been good to me. If I’d known exactly how everything was going to go down, there are some things I would have done differently…but quite frankly, I probably would’ve bought less if I’d known the company was that close to insolvency already, and really I now wish I had bought more!

@my4mainecoons said in SYWR Points Back with Purchase Offers Thread:
@lo I might be tempted to do this one… Sold the last of pliers sets this week.
I haven’t been in store for a month.
Are utility knives, penlights, etc. still behaving?Sorry, I don’t know. I normally buy pricier tools because I don’t want to deal with so many transactions, especially now that my closest store is 25 miles away instead of 8 miles and I’m also not regularly getting small $5 or $10 freecash offers anymore. Plus there are only so many penlights one can use…I mean, they are pretty useful and I keep one in pretty much every drawer or glove compartment, but I still have many dozens of them in a box somewhere.
Anyway, I just realized this was the end of Sears’s fiscal year. One thing I have already noticed is that several previous long-standing promos/offers have suddenly ended. I had a VIP points back coupon that had been good for months that is now showing as expired. And the bonus points offers for VIPs linking an Uber account or placing an order through the SYW app are gone too. So it wouldn’t be a stretch to think that there could be other good things that have ended too, especially with Transform wanting to close on the sale of the company within the next week or two. If anyone else notices something that has changed, please report!
By the way, the $100 back on $100 deal is now being heavily advertised on the home page, but the terms are a little different than the details I previously posted (which confusingly are still the same on the item pages as what I posted previously). These are the new advertised details:
Online Only! Members get $100 CASHBACK in points in 10 Weekly installments when you spend $100
or more on qualifying purchases at sears.com.
First $10 CASHBACK in points issued same day after transaction and valid for 7 days. Subsequent
payments of $10 CASHBACK in points issued every Wednesday starting 3/6/19 and are valid for 7 days.
Offer valid 2/3/19–2/24/19. Maximum $100 CASHBACK in points per member. Excludes Lands’ End.
Items must be Sold by Sears. Purchase requirement before taxes and after other discounts and must be
made in a single transaction. So will the 2nd installment come Thursday 2/14 or Wednesday 3/6? That’s a pretty big difference. If it’s really going to be 3/6, then I’d personally hold off on doing the offer until much closer to that date. If it’s going to be 2/14 but the offer is good through 2/24, maybe it could mean there might be a new offer every week for 3 weeks? They did something similar around Black Friday (the $250 back on $250 then had multiple iterations with slightly different timelines each, even though the advertising for it didn’t make it obvious that each iteration was a different deal). If there will really be multiple offers, then it’d be a good opportunity to have more points stacked up each week. I’m not really interested in having to go to Sears weekly just to get rid of $10 in points, but if it were, say, $30 a week, I’d be more inclined. I didn’t manage to do that Craftsman 100% deal before they switched it over to this current $100 back on $100, and now I kind of regret it because if I’m going to have to go to Sears every week anyway, I might as well be doing it with more points to blow…

RE: SYWR Points Back with Purchase Offers Thread
@ukedog There is a Kmart about 2 miles down the road from my closest Sears (actually, technically that Kmart is actually closer to me than the Sears is), but they really don’t sell anything anymore that I can use. I used to buy things from there like milk, eggs, butter, cheese, and bacon, but they have lost all their vendors for those products. Sears is much more viable to me for blowing points.
Once a final order is confirmed this week, I don’t see why this would be a gamble at all. I highly doubt that Transform will fold within 10 weeks. The only question right now is whether the judge will overrule all the objections. We’ll know later this week.

Around 30 fairly random items are giving anywhere between 8-30% back in points, online only, ends Sat: https://www.sears.com/search=00880509000P|00888919000P|00829672000P|00829672000P|00889208000P|00840708000P|A019328003|A019328002|A028690496|A028691273|A028691198|A028691137|A028691137|A028691137|A028691137|A028691137|A028691137|A028691137|A011908869|A011993818|00915495000P|00615962000P|A029113551|A013204652|A010787546|A010786129|A010786128|00625231000P|00621917000P|A027530923|A027540268|A024986115|A028209166|067VA87539212P|A025512330|067VA98390012P|067VA99418112P&adcell=hp_PopUpPoints_Banner

RE: SYWR Points Back with Purchase Offers Thread
Ummmm, there is this deal on Kenmore Elite washers/dryers:
Online only. Get $100 CASHBACK in points to use on Apparel. Items sold by Sears
Members get $100 CASHBACK in points to redeem on Apparel when you purchase select Laundry items at Sears.com. Points awarded next day after transaction and expire 7 days after issuance. Max $100 in points per member. Online only. Offer valid 1/18/19-1/19/19 11:59pm CST.Can they really give points only valid for a specific department now? I’m skeptical, but I’m hoping this isn’t a harbinger of things to come.
