@mommyofhandk Personally, I find them easier to wear than lesser masks because they have actual structure and stand up on their own–there’s no tendency to inhale them like happens with cloth or surgical masks.

There is a slight resistance to breathing, the best way I can describe it is that I feel like I’m something like 1,000’ higher than I really am–for most situations, a non-issue. I have worn them when over 10,000’ and ascending (and carrying 25 pounds of stuff on my back.)

Bought some years ago–not happy, the covers aren’t secure enough.

That’s how it always works with Duolingo. They’re going to try to upsell you but you don’t have to pay. My wife’s got a streak over 800 days at this point, never paid a penny. The premium version basically gives you no ads and works offline. (It also removes the “health” meter that makes you go review if you make too many mistakes–but I don’t think that’s a benefit.)

I’ll second Dilly101, there are still empty spaces on there for boosters, don’t laminate it. However, instead of the copy technique my “copy” is a digital image on my phone.

What I’ve been looking for is a pouch that’s the right size for the cards, though.

Read the description–these aren’t lab diamonds. They describe them as a cross between cubic zirconia and lab diamonds. They say they are treated to keep moisture out so they don’t yellow–in other words, they’re basically cubic zirconia with some sort of protective outer layer.

I’m not sure if it’s exactly the same model we have but it’s certainly similar. These things work well, but beware the cable is not actually attached and there’s no warning if you deploy the last of it.

Last year we got a 10% bonus. Now it’s only 5%–which is the same as what we get with the Amazon card, there’s no gain.

That’s all it’s worth anyway.

Doesn’t like hotmail addresses, either–I think they’re looking for corporate e-mail addresses. There is also a mandatory question at the bottom about areas of interest that are all in the realm of biologists. I don’t think they intended this for general distribution on the internet.

What’s the use of this? I don’t plan to have sex with any witches or other evil entities, why do I need a lubricant for the wicked?

This deal is nuts. My wife is drooling over her 9 cans of nuts.

Not the best for reliability (the buttons wear out in time) but otherwise these things are vastly superior to an ordinary mouse for most purposes.

When I first started checking my credit reports I found a lot of biographical garbage, including an alias that was actually what my wife usually goes by (she’s foreign, like many such people she usually goes by an American name that’s similar to her real name.) I pointed out what had to have happened (car shopping back before they needed permission to run your credit. They must have run hers based on the name she gave (she doesn’t drive, she didn’t give them any ID.) That would have no-hit but 3 of the 5 letters match my name, I got my wife as an alias.) No proof was needed.
