A 12.4 ounce box at Walmart is $2.58. This works out to $1.79 for the same ounces so definitely a good deal.

Many SKUs on clearance, appears to be more than just regional. As always with Walmart clearance YMMV. Check regular clearance aisle, paint aisle and endcap/displays in home improvement section.

How are people selling 2018 rolls of forever stamps for below cost with free shipping? Are they cashing out rewards by buying stamps and selling on ebay?

Stopped at a Staples in Glenmont NY to check out the clearance section. Do you think they had enough clearance signs?

I miss the $5 amazon gift cards that they had last Christmas. It made each cap worth 50 cents.

Was able to pickup a Brother MFC-J480DW demo for $14.50 that had a regular price near $80. Some decent Canon printers went on the clearance table for under $50 but didn’t get the info on them. I know Staples clearance has been pretty weak recently but lots of little items now on clearance. Maybe it is an end of year clean out?

Just a word of caution on these don’t hold on to them for a long time. I had one completely liquidated by someone in another state who was able to generate a pin number. They apparently used a whole bunch of PPDG card numbers to buy ink in a store. Even after a two hour nightmare dealing with overseas Staples support I am not sure if I will ever get my money back.

Its nice to see deals on Sunoco recently. I use them when I cash in a grocery rewards program for even more savings. Even with out the grocery rewards its like saving 20 cents a gallon when gas is at $3.

I wonder if they check for the woody chicken breast syndrome at this price.

Nice deal if your kids need a basic swing set. These were on an end cap in the lumber section. Most accessories for other playground equipment were on deep clearance as well. Probably a seasonal thing here in the Northeast.

Returned a black Friday item today and was given store credit. I had to show a drivers license on return and purchase with the store credit. Cashier said you can no longer give your store credit to someone else. So all those people on ebay selling store credit are going to be screwed soon as stores start to enforce this.

I was thinking there was a higher risk of the government looking over your activities when you’re moving six figures around every year. Most of what I do is real small stuff with a rewards card. The one that is a gray area though is using discounted Lowes gift cards to buy supplies for a client.

This may be a stupid question but do any MS folks pay tax on this income? If they don’t and get some type of government benefits like obamacare do they worry about that being effected?

Check out locally owned lumber yards. Mine lets me have lumber tarps. They’re about 20’ long and 10’ wide. Not as strong as tarps that you buy but they’re waterproof, sturdy and free.

The last time I shopped at Big Lots was a Friends and Family 20% off event. That is when I stock up in the food section. I remember Pringles and Poptarts were 80 cents after the discounts. Cheez-Its were $1.60 compared to $2.88 at Walmart. Any packaging with expired promotions or contests are often deeply discounted. Always look for the clearance section and clearance endcaps. I remember one time buying huge pool covers at 90% off after the season was over. I used them as tarps at a fraction of the cost of real tarps at Lowes.

Is this only on certain price checks?

You can only earn one $5 bonus per week so it’s unlikely that people are going to go crazy enough to shut it down. It appears though that you could shop at multiple stores each day and stack up the qualifying purchases to apply to each reward period. So maybe you could visit two stores each day for a week and have rewards for the next month.

Was that 650 a week or month? Last time I checked Enterprise it was just under $1000 with tax for the month. If you needed extra days though they screwed you and charged the day rate.

on a side note, if you haven’t checked out the OTA signal in your area, i really suggest you do, you will see what a real HDTV picture should be.
the OTA signal is uncompressed, while satellite/cable use compression routines to stuff all those “great” channels down the pipe, but take a look at your local channel OTA vs. your cable for comparison

If the HD channel has sub channels then it is compressed. The more sub channels the worse it is. Even the master satellite feed is compressed from original content. I know people who still use free-to-air c band satellite dishes to get the best picture possible from the unencrypted satellite feeds. If you’re lucky sometimes you can catch a sporting event being sent back to the studio over satellite in full HD bit rate.

The Planters lightly salted cashews are marked down to $3.91 for 14oz. Not a bad deal at all if you can order enough to get free shipping.

Why not buy a Google play card at the grocery store? Many stores count the purchases towards their reward programs.

I like that you have a place to put a cushion and keep it dry. Decent price too.
