Scan or take a picture of all your important documents (passport, drivers license, etc.) and email them to yourself. Then if you lose your stuff while traveling you can find somewhere to get online and access the copies to ease the recovery process.

Extra pair of shoelaces can save your day, likewise a “travel size” roll of toilet paper. Earplugs for use in a noisy hotel.

@my4mainecoons - @dangeRuss has enabled verification to stop the flood of spammers who have recently descended upon us. A bit of a pain, yes, but keeps the forums from being flooded with trash.

I use this model and it has been a steady workhorse. Definitely one of the best options for cheap ink as well.

Tagging in @dangeRuss and @Global-Moderators to bring attention to this constraint in the email notifications - perhaps there is a setting that can be changed to also enable the system to issue notifications when a message has been edited.
