CVS has become a disgusting, customer-ripping company, period! They use their coupons or extra bucks to entice the clueless customers in and then rob them blindly. I really wish there will be a class action against them!

Mister C or Mister V – Are you aware that OD gift card is treated the same as OD reward certificate, that is, doesn’t earn rewards or counted for $10 regular purchase for ink recycling purpose? I had always thought that OD giftcards are treated same as cash or cc payment methods (and always worked so for me before). But my most recent purchase ( july 13) at the store using OD gc didn’t earn reard or qualify me for the ink recycling. I thought maybe OD just changed their policy so i called the customer service to confirm, but the rep told me OD gc payment has always been disqualified for rewards or meeting ink recycling requirements (which i know was not true prior to July). I’m puzzled and don’t know what’s going on with OD.

UPDATE: Was refused by phone, but i just tried online chat and the rep just asked for the Target link, and he placed the order for me before asking for my payment. He says someone will call me later for the payment. This is a brand new experience for me. I hope they will be able to take my rewards when they call me.

I was dropped this time of last year, and how i found out was exactly like him - recycled 20 and received credit for 10. So i called them and was told my membership changed. So yes, that do happen mid-year.

Did find this brand of water at the Sprouts last night. I tried the cucumber mint flavor and i thought the taste was awful.

I had them plenty of times before. They taste pretty good.

What are you all buying to satisfy the $10 requirement? I’m running out of options. Have enough bounty or charmin or trash bags in stock at home already. Regular priced items at OD are terribly overpriced. When i recycled my cartridges last Wednesday i saw they have the 21ct Airborne gummies on clearance, so i bought two bottles to meet the spending requirement. Later i checked online and realized i could have got 42ct or 72ct for that price or even lower elsewhere. So much for the “clearance price!”

I bought their Highmark brand softsoap refill and some Tylenol cold medicine on clearance. You can also check Brickseek to see what clearance deals are out there. OD/OM also has a clearance section on their website.

It says in the terms that the purchase and recycle needs to be in the same transaction, but like customer service told me early on when I called that is not actually the case. All that is required is the purchase happen in the same week as the recycling.

Ok then, i will test it out this week.

What an awful online system they have! My order was canceled 4 minutes after i received order confirmation email, saying products not available even though their stupid site showing in stock. Tried to replace the order selecting a different store location, but won’t let me use the coupon anymore. I guess the stupid system knows it was used before, but too dumb to know they canceled that order. Oh well, i guess i should continue to stay away from Walgreens.

Did anybody do this rebate? I finally found this product at sprouts and submitted the rebate online but never heard anything back. Anyways for $4.99 (sale price) per pint I don’t think I will buy it again. It’s too sweet for my taste.

@mistercheap I have noticed that most Walmart freebie offers I can never find the product at my local Walmart stores. They simply don’t carry them.

@fivetalents Well, I waited and waited but they never called me. I thought they must be swamped so i waited until the following Monday or Tuesday and they told me the order was canceled because of non payment! After I explained the rep offered to place a new order for me for the same $159.99. Same thing she placed the order then i have to call in for the payment, which i did as soon as i got the order number. And yes, i used my rewards certificate without any issue. Oh, I also received a little present during the second time placing the order. That time OD had a promotion going on - spending $125 and get a free Rachael Ray baking pan. But the pan was out of stock. When i mentioned that to the rep, she found a similar priced Rachael Ray insulate tote and added to the order for free. I received the tote yesterday (not bad looking although i have no use for it) but have not received the tablet yet.

Too bad it’s store only and valid for these 2 days. We’re snowed in and the roads are way too dangerous to drive.

@mistercheap I agree it’s very deceptive! It’s kind of sad that a lot of people probably don’t even know they were ripe off because most people don’t pay attention to their receipts.

It seems like OD rewards are also drying out, especially in-store purchases.

Well there’s 13g of protein per serving. That’s pretty good.

For supper last night I had a pint of Steve’s Ice Cream and a salad.

10g of saturated fat per serving, 24% of RDA but total calories 260 of which 140 calories from fat… of course that’s per serving and I ate all 4 servings in the container…

I don’t think I ate anything else the rest of the day. (I forget to eat…) So I got 96% of my fat from Black Berry Crumble Ice Cream and the rest from a salad with low fat salad dressing…

Lol, you eat ice cream like i do, one pint in one setting! If not a pint then 3 or 4 ice cream/yogurt bars. Add some stir-fried greens or pint of blue berries my dinner is complete.

I hope i can find this in sprouts. Last time the free 8pk Deer Park coupon by mail - i couldn’t find it any where. Seems nobody carries that brand except for Sprouts, and Sprouts only carry the 24 pk.

Was planning not going out tomorrow (wll be freezing cold), but now looks like have to make it to Kroger. I really like belvita biscuits.
