i dont trust TCB for the guarantee. Everytime I had missing CB, they denied it. I made a purchase and it tracked at a lower % than advertised, and they are giving me a hard time over a dollar.

right, i dropped off carts in the am, and you may have to deal with someone who doesn’t know whats going on, but no id.
i went back later to redeem some points, and they did ask to see me id.

on the one account, i am plus. i dropped off 30 carts in one shot. employee tells me they only take 20. i said there is a bonus 10. she asks, “is that on the app”?

I know today is BF and higher traffic, but it has happened earlier in the week too.
Anyone else?

I saw some of the portal sites had $34 cashback.
for that price, its worth it just to get the discounts in Outback.

I just saw something on reddit where they are having cashiers check id when redeeming points. That’s going to make things a lot more difficult for those managing multiple accounts.

So maybe instead of making a PIN to go with your phone number, they just elected to show ID when redeeming points.

Someone posted on SD, they were asked for ID. they said they didn’t have it, and didn’t receive any pushback. the sale continued.

I just got back from recycling 10 cartridges and one alkaline battery on separate transactions. On my first transaction of 10 cartridges I didn’t get any coupons back, but on my second transaction of a single alkaline battery I got two $10 off $30 purchase coupons. One of the coupons says it expires and the other coupon says it /31/24.

I was just wondering do these coupons that print out on recycling transactions? Can I use them on other accounts or does it have to be used on the account that it came from?

I just did the same thing. I have 2 accounts, one is plus and one is regular.
On the plus account, i recycled 10 inks and just my receipt printed out.
On my regular account, I recycled 10 inks and a phone charger. a 10/30 printed out.
I then used the 10/30 coupon with the points I had on my plus account to make a purchase, no problems.

Staples has a new offer listed for this promo in next weeks ad, starting 10/6

they have had that for awhile, at least when i tried to cashout, mine had a min.

has anyone contacted CS about a majority of the custom picks disappearing? there used to be a few that would bring the prices down from their overinflated prices. now, about 75-80% of them are gone. that is a highlight of the “plus” program.

As a (paid) Plus member with Staples who does a monthly 20 ink cartridge recycle, I was curious how this would work out. Once I finally got past all the new “selections” and pop ups, I finally got to a web page showing I’d get 400 points each, up to 20 cartridges.

However, in this month’s Rewards showing my $40 ink rewards earned from recycling last month, I see it’s “for in-store only”…! WTF? That used to only be for the $5 reward for a tech recycle, etc.

But the weirdest “new Staples” change IMO is the website change, at least on my PC. No way to search across the site, or access your account to change profile settings etc. Now it seems you need to use the Staples mobile app to do stuff like that!

Hoping I’m mistaken here, and someone can provide a URL that works on a PC to search across the site?

i am also a “paid” plus member, with the same situation. I reached out to Staples about the “instore only”, and they told me the code on the coupon should work online also, if it doesn’t, they would credit my account.

i renewed aarp thru c1 shopping back in august, and never received credit for it. it does show in my shopping trips, but they never gave me an cb.

i got a denial email, no reason given. they just put a period . where the reason should go.
