I’d just be glad if they would own up to things I’ve actually earned, and answer a damn email when I confront them over it. I purchased a fridge from Lowe’s and a window unit A/C from Walmart dotcom, yet they mysteriously can’t find where I clicked on either of them so they can give me what is rightfully mine. Getting quite agitated with this place. That’s all. Thanks for letting me vent.

Hi kids…

So I snagged a pretty hefty bonus at work and want to, no I NEED to, get a new phone this upcoming week. My mind has already decided on the S9+ and I plan to get this directly from Samsung’s website, simply because I want the exclusive 256 GB, only available from them directly. The deal they have going now also gives me a free pair of IconX earbuds, so all in all and straight across the board after all is said and done, including a fast charge wireless charging stand, I’m looking at $999.98. (Of course for some really weird reason, it was only $979 a couple of days ago for the exact same shopping cart).

I’m trying to find a coupon code out there, or the best way to save any additional at Samsung directly. I’m pretty technologically challenged on stuff like this, for the most part, but just need some advice on how to make this purchase work for me.

I currently have Family Mobile from Walmart and not sure what type of plan I will need with them either. Right now, it’s just the basic, cheapest plan. Do I need to get a larger one, or will the basic one do me okay? Questions abound.

Any advice or input anyone has, would be tremendously appreciated. Planning on pulling the trigger on the 25th.

some people want a sandwich, not a salad, if I wanted a salad, I’d buy a salad. Firehouse Subs and Quizno were much better. Never tried Jimmy john or other sub shop. but the quality of the meat, like the chicken is very low quality.

FYI: You’re not missing a damn thing with Jimmy Johns dried out sheet rock that they like to call bread, or their nasty processed and pressed “meat.” It usually surfaces at work for our board meetings and I avoid it like the plague.

Horrible stuff, IMHO. Made my/our hair super slimy and greasy with just a small amount. Threw it out the last time.

Yeah well… funny thing about that statement… because it just worked for us about 45 minutes ago.

I had an issue with the email and ended up accidentally opting in for the sunglasses so I called them. They told me they were sending the shades anyway, and also sending the robe, so I ended up with both of them… pretty rapidly. Happy December birthday to me!!

@tuskers Hmmm… to me, 1 month does not a long-standing, legit and “reputable” site make, although maybe that’s just me and the investigative nature I have, due to my career. I really don’t see myself ever needing to know this information anyway.
If something WERE to happen, I only have one… personal and professional email address, along with two simultaneous credit monitoring services (for the full spectrum of my life) that would immediately inform me if any kind of compromise (breach) happened anyway. The rest of the email addresses that I DO have (at least 6) were set up with full intentions to be “disposable” and catch freebie and deal confirmations that are sent there.
This site may very well have good intentions, but I prefer to personally pass on this, simply by remembering the old adage: “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”

I can’t confirm validity of this site with 100% accuracy either, however I did find the following while sleuthing around their site in their FAQ’s:

Well, I actually was able to finally request the free one after multiple attempts at getting the site to even load in the first place this morning, when @msrazzle and I were trying.

Great info here from @fivetalents , and here’s the process that I follow:

1. The offer is flagged by a member and brought to the mods attention via a flag.
2. If I am the mod to get the flag, I’ll personally review the post right away to confirm alleged snarkiness.
3. I will then immediately lock the thread and remove the entire link that directs to said snarky offer, and in it’s place put something like “See our Fake Freebies section for details.”
4. Add a small note to whomever the OP is, briefly explaining Phat’s intolerance of self-promotion, OR educate them on how to correctly identify a scam to begin with. (And as you’re totally aware… “some” people seriously don’t know)
5. Retire the “offer” to Fake Freebies, if it’s not already there yet by the au fait member who found it, where it can live out it’s golden years.

Also, thanks from me too… for being here and having your eyes and experience open. Your suggestions and comments are always truly appreciated and welcomed!
