Personally, instead of one company operating more than 1,200 Pizza Huts and nearly 400 Wendy’s restaurants, I’d rather see many folks operating a few of each.

RE: Oeck: Free Beta VPN + Smart DNS
No good VPN is free. Free is either limited in data, speed, and/or server locations.

RE: Free Masks For Every American - Dhvani
@mrsguin Not to be ungrateful but has anyone who might have requested one of these actually received anything yet? I did receive an acknowledgement email and a request to donate through their GoFundMe page. Of course, they did say they received over 250000 requests in their email.

RE: Best Nationally Available High APY Liquid Accounts
Perhaps I missed it but just received this from ALLY:
Because of this, the Annual Percentage Yield (APY) for your Online Savings Account is changing from 1.50% APY to 1.25% APY on all balance tiers, and the APY for your Money Market Account is changing from 0.75% APY to 0.50% APY on all balance tiers. Your new APYs are effective 5/12/2020 and will show online in your account details on 5/13/2020. -
RE: No sound on my PC
I’d say if sound plays during initial boot then you have no real hardware issues. That is, cords plugged in and speakers actually work. I’d right-click on the start button and look at Device Manager to see if Windows has an issue with any drivers, etc. shown generally with an exclamation point. You could also expand the Sound device(s) and see what Windows thinks is correct just in case.

RE: No sound on my PC
Presuming Windows 10 (but others may work the same, it’s been too long for me to recall), right-click on the speaker icon in the taskbar. Generally, the lower right corner of the screen. Select “Open Sound Settings” and see what it shows for “Output device”. If it doesn’t indicate something like speakers or what looks appropriate, select the drop-down box and look for something else. While there look at the Master Volume to make sure it’s turned up and not muted.

RE: eBay Best Price Guarantee: 110% of the Difference
I wonder how that will work when I buy something on a whim only to find out they are an Amazon “reshipper” or whatever it’s called. They basically order from Amazon and have it sent to me and I find the Amazon gift receipt inside the box and see an Amazon warehouse sender address? On a couple of those, I see the Amazon price a bit cheaper but then again I’ve seen it more expensive.
