RE: Coleman Grill-Top Coffeemaker $29 @ Walmart or FS w/Prime @ Amazon
@ctgolfer Does this make anybody else recall the old SNL skit “Mr. Tea”?
Father Guido Sarducci: “Just add water, and Mr. Tea does the rest!”

Best Buy: Insignia Virtual Reality Viewer, brown, $0.99 (was $9.99)
Where brown = cardboard, LOL. One of the “deals of the day”.
Insignia Virtual Reality ViewerAs a joke, I got one of these for my son at Christmas two years ago, and he actually liked it!
It’s the perfect answer to folks who parade about in public (mall, gym, etc) wearing $175 Beats headphones! -
RE: SYWR Points Back with Purchase Offers Thread
@mrvietnam There’s all kind of stuff besides just those categories, e.g. home (kitchen, bedding, rugs, etc), sporting goods/outdoors, and so on. The trick is they’ve pretty much eliminated the consumable stuff you have to buy regardless.
So, unless you’ve got a local Kmart store nearby to burn those 3 installments of $20 in points on those very consumables, e.g. paper goods, grocery items, and various other “gotta buy regardless”, it may not be such a hot deal. Unfortunately my local Kmart shut down last year.

Nice! Still makes 270 cups (a little optimistic there). I’m guessing more like 240. EDIT

Love how Sears cuts the governor out of the picture (no state sales tax) on free via SYWR points orders -

Thanks, time to stock up on “Fresh Finds” Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
What, it’s not the best olive oil you can buy?! And maybe not even actual olive oil?

RE: Walmart Clearance YMMV forum for in-store deals
@itsfriday I used my $5 drill today, along with another B&D 20V Li-Ion drill I’ve had for 2 years, on a home remodeling project. The new drill worked fine, and it saved me from having to swap out bits. The $5 one is actually a near clone of my B&D drill, both having keyless chucks, adjustable torque settings, and a slide-on battery pack. Maybe a tad more arcing at the brushes near the back of the drill… Anyway, I’m happy. And no, I wouldn’t expect it to last long if I used it daily to screw down deck boards, etc.
Generally, I prefer Makita power tools if price doesn’t enter into it. I realize some folk bleed yellow (an allegiance that always baffles me).
