Even so, that’s a generous free trial offer! I use it and mostly like it, although I have to disable their VPN to avoid interference with another one.

@ctgolfer I got a year of the “with-Ads” version through T-Mobile. Watching can be brutal, just like with Hulu.
However, it does allow me to stream the previous night’s “The Late Show” whenever, with about the same ad time.
Now if the old episodes of Chappelle’s Show and Key and Peele would stream properly without freezing or closing, I’d be happy.

@mistercheap I’m fairly confident that if I bought this many, that would result in the “sunset” of Staples ink rewards program before I used even a third of them. That with no Office Depot stores within any reasonable driving distance.
Now if a couple other like-minded (cheap bstrd) neighbors wanted to split up an order, that would be another story.

@dangeruss Yeah, it’s the opposite of entertainment, for sure.
Some posts on groups say that for movies, it only plays the ads at the very beginning, and thereafter no interruptions.
Haven’t found any movies yet that I’d risk testing that out on, lol.

@mrvietnam Ok, I bit on this over the holiday, just to watch “Only Murders in the Building” and “Brockmire”.
Wow, those ad breaks are relentless and painful! Even the audio seems to boost!

Fast forwarding through them (logically) is disabled, so I try to multitask using my remote’s mute button to do something else.
I discovered that if I overshoot, while muted, in the resumption of the show, I can rewind back to just before the start of the ads.
Then, resuming play, that block of ads that already played is skipped.
Is there any better workaround apart from paying $$ for the ad-free subscription?

@ukedog Walmart canceled my order for store pickup (Looking to become a two-bidet household). Oh well, back to Amazon.

UPDATE: Walmart is selling their own version called the Luxe Bidet W85, which is apparently identical but sold only by Walmart, for only $25.
It differs in that the faceplate has some gray on the white. May even be available for free store pick-up!

@dangeruss I looked at their Tuesdays app, under “Next Tues”, and there’s no mention of the Paramount+ offer.
Just “$3 Slices-N-Stix”, “Free metal Ornament” from Shutterfly (w $7 shipping, lol), and a few other odd things.
But if it’s like the last free 1 year AppleTV+ promotion, you’ll definitely need a T-Mobile logon.
