Got home ~ 10P.M. having finally finished shopping RA. Exhausted.

Reading PhW came across this thread. It’s 10:18 PM and snowing.
Should I do it? Google says that Kohl’s closes at 11P.M.
10:35 I’m back in the car.
When I walk into Kohl’s I’m the only customer in the store.
Bought a 99¢ gift bag using newly earned KC.
Asked cashier about the KC for making purchase when she didn’t offer it.
Got $15. 😊. Home by 11PM.

Yes, if I had the time to keep buying a 99c item to earn $5 to $15 in KCASH each time, I would have. But it was almost dinner time and I got the e-mail on my phone about the offer while I was elsewhere, so figured I’d get a new bath towel (wifey wanted some new bath towels anyway) so good time to spend a $5 pick up order KCash. Came out ahead with $10 new Kohls Cash given the towel cost me $6.60 ($1.60 oop). I easily could have done 3 or 4 orders going to the back of the line starting over, they had like 15 cashier stations opened at my store. Think this is the first year they’ve ran this particular promo, so hoping next year I’m ready for it when I can really prepare in advance. Assuming you can manage 10 trips through the line at different times of day or at different Kohls locations, invest about $10 + tax in spend, get back at least $50 in KCASH but likely more like $100 if you got an average of 3 $15, 3 $10 and 4 $5’s.

Assuming you can manage 10 trips through the line at different times of day or at different Kohls locations, invest about $10 + tax in spend, get back at least $50 in KCASH but likely more like $100 if you got an average of 3 $15, 3 $10 and 4 $5’s.
Don’t forget gas when traveling back and forth to Kohl’s which would cut into the MM. Good deal though. Too bad I missed it. Could have brought the whole family to pick up 99 cent tote bags.

@mistercheap Being the only customer in the store at 5 min before closing, with the staff eager to get me out of there I couldn’t easily do it more than once.
It’s unusual for me to be able to jump on a deal since most of the major retailers are an hour away except for Kohls and WM. But, since they are < 5 miles away I figured it was worth $5 minimum. This Kohl’s opened a few years ago and I was surprised they chose this location as we have low population density. Whenever I go into the store its empty and I don’t shop there myself. I order for pick up an hour south where there’s no sales tax as I’m in that area often enough. I think this was the first time I’d been in local Kohl’s in a year.
btw, isn’t this expired?

I’m lucky, Kohls is 2miles from my house and pass it on the way out or on the way home since that is the route I take 80% of the time as I’m heading elsewhere, so sort of a non issue for me on the gas. It was on the way home from Pep Boys yesterday Mr. V. (I know you’ll get a chuckle out of that)
