That’s really surprising given Albertson’s is the parent chain. Have to say, I’ve gotten some good things off those freebies.

Take that back. I saw it at Albertsons, but only one item - the onion rings. Usually they don’t participate here but this time around I guess they are, partially.
Oh, I see now why I saw the Saturday Sampler, when I logged in it had me choose from a store in Idaho or from my store in So Cal. I chose the store in Idaho and the Saturday Sampler became available. On another account I chose the store near my home and no Saturday Sampler. I wonder if I signed in to a store in another state but then tried to redeem in CA if the digital coupon would come off or not, even though it is not offered here.

We had Saturday Sampler at Shaw’s until COVID19 and got good stuff. A few of my accounts recently got a random free 1/2 gallon of Planet Oat oat milk but not like Saturday Sampler when every account received it. IMO they’re still being COVID-cautious. We also used to get weekend specials with prices only valid Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Now those deals are valid all week. e.g. yet again we have $0.99 cases of water, L2 per card but instead of only Fri., Sat. & Sun. its all week. According to maps I’ve seen, the northeast is doing o.k.in terms of COVID so if Shaws not having Saturday Samplers is part of that, they shouldn’t change it. Our state didnt start requiring masks until Aug. 1 and Shaws was a place one saw people without masks.
