Not very informative as to what actually happened. Looking at how much a forum like this actually generates, I’m guessing the real money is in cashback.

I found this article about what Tim Storm did after Fat Wallet closed down:
Here is a podcast, Tim Storm did soon after he sold Fat Wallet to Ebates in 2011. Rakuten (the parent of Ebates) closed Fat Wallet in 2017.
