JUST4U: Select Accounts (across all Albertson's chains) $5 off $5+ single priced item (see list in post) at Starbucks located inside the supermarket

Check your J4U panel, I had this offer on 2 Acme accounts.
Thanks to @cheerfuljam and @MrVietnam for info posted.
Also as reported on sd:
Starbucks drink over $5 works with coupon… **Don’t use Starbucks cards to pay for the difference. It ended up charging the whole amount. I had to go to customer service to get the $5 back.
I bought the Banana Bread slice (3.25), it did not come off, so I add the scone (2.75), and 2.75 come off. I think minimum is $5 dollars total and it takes off the lowest price item.**
Impossible breakfast sandwich priced at $5.25 did not work.
Double-Smoked Bacon, Cheddar & Egg Sandwich $5.25 worked.
Another breakfast sandwich worked but I don’t have the exact one right now. Will update as soon as I hear back from a family member.

@MrVietnam I think I know why the gift card to pay the difference messed it up.
They are likely tied to both the Albertson’s POS and the Starbucks POS systems. A starbucks GC is processed by Starbucks, not Albertson’s system, so it likely bumps off the digital as it defaults to the Starbucks system which wouldn’t account for a digital loaded on J4U.

They must have fixed the glitch. Now I do not believe it has to be a single $5+ item, but rather any amount of items that add up to at least $5. I did the offer twice (on two J4U accounts). One time I got a $2.65 blueberry muffin and a $2.45 chocolate chip cookie and the $5 discount came off leaving me to only pay a dime. The next order I got 2 brownies for $2.95 each and the $5 came off and I only had to pay 90 cents OOP. Actually the brownies were marked as being $2.75 each, but rang up at $2.95 each, so I paid an extra 40 cents due to their pricing mistake. The cashier said there was nothing she could do about it, but the manager came in an hour or two. I thought not worth the trouble just for 40 cents.

@MrVietnam I take it you can void the order if it doesn’t work on $5/5 vs. the cheaper item only? Hate to waste the value of the Q if for some reason it doesn’t apply the full amount.

Yes, an order can be voided if the $5 J4U coupon does not come off. However, that is why I just ordered pre-prepared pastry items such as cookies and brownies. If they made a drink for you or a sandwich and then you decided not to buy it when the coupon didn’t come off and void the order, I am not sure how happy they would be about it.

Got 2 pastries for <$1. These were frozen (made 2-3 months ago) and then thawed, not freshly baked.

This offer is back for many accounts, but not all.
