Another source says: Participating Walmart stores will have Free Vea Mini Crunch Bar or World Crisps samples. I thought alphabet cookies were last week,
Also only some Walmarts have a freeosk.

Someone on FW pointed out that these samples are very, very, small. And stated it’s not worth the transportation cost to go just for a freebie. If you are already planning on shopping at Walmart, or are in the area already for other business, then by all means check the Freeosk. These threads were never popular on FW for just that reason. You’d spend more time & gas then the ‘freebie’ was worth.

True most samples are just that, a sample that is small
I do wish they would give out full size samples, but so few places do

Thanks, OP, for the info and the link to the Freeosk page. I did not know about the Freeosk and will ask where it’s located next time I’m at our local Walmart. As SweetClover said, it’s not worth a special trip, but if I’m there anyway…

Like FW, if a thread is inactive (no replies) for 3 months, it is automatically eligible for expiration. In this case specifically, even if there are freebies in the Freeosk, if this thread is not reporting what the current freebie is, the thread itself isn’t serving its purpose and can be expired. HTH.

To be clear, 3 months is not set in stone. We’re starting off following a lot of FW policies but are developing our own over time. Two weeks may be too fast to determine whether a thread has been abandoned, but 3 months always seemed way too long to me. We’ll have to see what works best for the site and the community.
