Read the negative reviews over there. I tried 3 of the GE bulbs (not this model) and gave up.

I was excited until I read the reviews. Seems like you would need a Google home device or some sort of hub.

You can use GE’s app, but you would not have voice control. I could not set it up with Google Hub. The bulb could be seen initially, and then it could not be connected. I actually lost some Staples Rewards in the process, because of multiple exchanges.

I bought some regular bulb shaped ones w a rebate that ended up costing about $1.50 each. Confirm you can download a GE app and control the bulbs with your phone - on/off, light level, color. *** BUT, the GE app alone doesn’t have scheduling which kind of sucks. I don’t have Google Home or whatever those hubs are called. Looks like that would provide scheduling function. Overall I would not hesitate to buy … perhaps this is a good way to dim the lights without installing a dimmer wall light switch.
