I went to Rite Aid and found a nearby store that had the tags up. Evidently regarding Christmas toys, Rite Aid is taking a different approach this year than they have in previous years. The toys are 50% off now through 2/19/22 (not a typo). It looks like the Christmas toys will not go to 75% off until 2/20/22. I think they are taking a different strategy regarding holiday clearance and trying to make more money. They must figure they can slowly sell them at 50% off and people will buy them up sooner or later before going to 75% off. I found the two stores I was at pretty much sold out of Christmas gift wrap BEFORE Christmas. It looks like the stores were not delivered as many Christmas products this year as in year’s past.

I copied down what was on some of the tags and I will type it up below. It looks like the only things that are 75% off now are Rite Aid brand Christmas cards, Rite Aid brand Christmas gift wrap, Christmas lights, and home decor. American Greetings boxed Christmas cards are only 50% off (through 1/1).

    Here is the breakdown:

Christmas boxed cards, candles, gift wrap, home decor, domestics,
housewares, lights, trim-a-tree, and Hanukkah 75% off 12/26-1/8

Christmas candy, snacks, and food gift sets 50% off 12/26-1/1, presumably going to 75% off on Sunday, 1/2/22

Select toys and plush, giftware, apparel, slippers, and pet beds 50% off 12/26-2/19

Also, I didn’t write it down but I think I remember seeing the non-food gift sets were 50% off 12/26-1/8

I think I will buy the baby Yoda for my kids. At Sam’s Club and Walmart before Christmas it was $29.99, but $34.99 regular retail at Rite Aid, but with 50% off and a $3 off $15 purchase-based coupon I have it would bring the total down to only $14.49.

I am also interested in the Connex construction toy sets. Their regular retail is $24.99, so $12.49 now.

Rite Aid is getting smarter these days. Probably due to them having so much available shelf space these days and them wanting to make more money, they are keeping the toys at 50% off for nearly two months after Christmas. Last year it was just days after Christmas that they went to 75% off.

Too bad no $10 BC wyb $50 coupons this week.

Great deal on Blue Diamond Almonds:

2 for $6, get $3 BC, then submit receipt of 750 fetch points (75c)

    2 for $2.25 a/all offers.

BC offer is limit 2, can get 4 cans, but Fetch won’t kick in on these.

There’s a recent $1/2 mq, 11-14 SS, and also an online rebate for $1/2/5 wyb 2/3/5 cans. Must purchase and submit by 12-31. Max five $5 rebates/$25.
Each submission must be sent separately. Terms state “purchase receipt” so multiple receipts might not work on a single submission.

In theory, one could buy 5 cans for $15, use two $1/2 mqs, get $5 rebate and $6 BC. $2 net for 5 cans.
