I guess the $1.99 case sale price is gone forever. $2.99 is the new $1.99. I guess the $1.99 case water went down the same path as the $1 Whopper at Burger King.
Good deal, especially when using rewards from ink recycling that were earned at a big discount and going through a cash back site. Especially appealing to Californians, as Office Depot doesn’t charge the $1.20 CRV recycling fee on online orders, but yet I can recycle the bottles and make an extra $1.20 per case.

Given the weight and that all these must be trucked in, it’s the transportation costs that likely played the biggest part of a 50% price increase. If we ever get back to $3 a gallon diesel, maybe we’ll see $2 case water again.

a screw up of some kind on their end. they had it messed up on the website the last time they ran it in mid to late October. Will have to call them for an adjustment.
