Get a $15 statement credit by using your enrolled eligible Card to spend a minimum of $115 in one or more transactions after you pay your monthly wireless bill directly with a US wireless service provider by 8/15/2023. Limit of 2 statement credits (total of $30).

My offer isn’t as good: $115 minimum for $10, L3 so I’d have to spend $345 to earn $30 for 8.6% vs 13% for the OP offer.

I don’t have cell service but my internet is from Xfinity. Do you think it would qualify? Just internet, no cable, no bundle. I have landline long distance service from AT&T and landline phone service from Fairpoint but I presume those bills aren’t eligible.
Offer valid only for monthly payments for wireless service charges made directly with US wireless service providers via online, mobile app, or by phone. Purchases made with third parties, authorized retailers or resellers are excluded. Excludes purchases for VoIP, hardware, equipment, and bundled home/cable services.

I was thinking to do Russ’ trick of prepaying since my monthly bill is $30, i.e. make 3@$115 payments which would be one year of service.

I currently get 5% for phone/Internet/office supply stores from Chase Ink but I max out the 5%. If I could shift some 5% expenses from Chase to Amex that would let me get 5% back on $345 more in Visa gc.

@my4mainecoons Wireless provider I think refers strictly to phone service. it would typically say internet/cable if Xfinity was included. I mean, you can clip the offer and try, but my best guess is it wouldn’t qualify.

  • My offer is slightly different: Get a one-time $30 statement credit by using your enrolled eligible Card to make 3 separate monthly payments to your wireless bill directly with a US wireless service provider by 8/15/2023.

  • I have the same offer as the OP. I saw it less than 1 hour after my autopayment hit, so I charged $115 to my Amex and already got the email saying I redeemed an offer. But then it dawned on me I’m saving $15 off my bill with autopayment, which I still have set up obviously. So I assume even if I prepay the bill ahead, I’ll still get the autopayment discount on my next bill, right? My bill is about $140 and I charged $115, so an autopayment would still happen if I don’t prepay again. So I think I’ll just let it prepay the $25 in a month and then just prepay $90 after that hits, which seems to be the safest unless I’m overthinking this which is probably the case 🙂

That may actually work, but don’t know for sure. I remember that I had 2 Amex offers (cable and cell???), and a single Xfinity charge triggered both.

With Xfinity internet service, you can get the minimum $15+tax cell service and share it with multiple lines. I pay $19.xx for 5 lines, so I switched the payment quickly to Amex a couple of days ago because I need 6 of those payments to reach $115 by 8/15.

  • I didn’t get this offer but got one for paying I
    insurance bill. Same amount.

I have autopay on my cellphone bill which knocks $5 off each month. I manually paid and have credit in the account many times and still got the $5 monthly discount.
