Before you buy anything at Staples B&M, first recycle an electronic item for $5 or $10 in rewards depending on the offer at the time.

ask for PAPER receipt on screen, a $10/30 SAME DAY Q has printed out with my receipt for a time now, it’s valid ONLY that day.

For instance, if you have a $20 ink rewards sitting in your account, stack that with this $10/30 to get $30 worth of items in store (breakroom, office supplies, cleaners, etc) You can also price match to other stores to stretch your value.

If doing the $10 offer in April and May, wait until June to redeem, stack the two $10 rewards offers with the $10/30 in June for $30 in free or pay $10 OOP stacking a $10reward and $10/30 ($30 worth for $10).

The coupons do not expire in the system until at least 12/31/2023, although getting the cashier to scan the coupon is YMMV.

yes, exactly. But if you come prepared, it works out well rather than having to come back to the store another day. Hey, it made my $20 ink rewards worth $30 for 3 months in a row.

The $10 recycling promo expires on 6/3, and the May reward will not be available until 6/8, so you have to either skip the $10 recycling in June, or try to use an “expired” coupon after 6/8.

No, you have two options.
- Tech recycle 6/1-6/3 to get your $10 paid in July
- Come back to the store later in June, recycle some other piece of junk you have lying around to generate the $10/30 coupon and get no rewards credit for your piece of junk. Then get $30 of stuff.
OR:
Spend your first $10 rewards from April when you recycle in May, pay $10 for $30 if you get the $10 off $30 in May.
Then in July, recycle a tech item for $5 (base amount), get $30 for free with the valid rewards Q’s for May and June’s recycle (exp 7/31 and 8/31 respectively)

No we don’t. but I don’t believe this receipt coupon is tied to anyone’s account. It seems to generate when a recycle item is brought in, the coupon code on the receipt is a 16 digit one time use but can be used by any account. I don’t think the POS system on different days of the month would know. Obviously YMMV I suppose.

I can find out for you after April 16. I recycled Tech on an account around April 1 and I have scads of Tech to unload. I will recycle again to see if 1) I receive another $10/$30 and 2) I receive $5 or $10 in May. Nothing to lose by trying.

i got a 10/30 coupon when I dropped something off to be shipped (prepaid return). The coupon is good until the end of the month.

If nothing else, I’m going to try the same and see what happens, if they only issue $5 I may call cust. svc and ask for the later submission for $10 to count vs. the earlier one and see if they’d issue me the extra $5 in rewards.
