@mistercheap Yes, crime is rampant in San Francisco! Security Guards do nothing, because the participants of the crime, are allowed to leave. In CA a crime of theft is a misdemeanor, under $900. The police do nothing. Recently, all the expensive goods are locked up!

Yeah, read about this earlier today. Insane. they should coat the exits with cooking oil and watch all these jerks slip and slide on their asses. Honestly, sometimes I think they have the right idea in some middle eastern countries where they chop off a hand or two for thieves. They have no fear, no substantial punishment is ever doled out. Put the fear of God into these losers once and for all and this crap would stop overnight.

Walgreens is essentially a Service Merchandise store in San Francisco (for all of you ol’ timers)
Strangely, that Walgreens on 16th and Geary is in Inner Richmond, one of the nicer parts of San Francisco.
