So I’ve been trying to do this and it’s not easy. But once we figure this out, it could be very lucrative.
Here’s my experience so far. When you scan your first Sip and Scan icon (SAS), the coke rewards page recognizes it and gives you credit. But look closely at the SAS on two different bottles of Coca-Cola. They are identical. Scan your second SAS and the website tells you, “You already scanned an icon from this brand. Please scan a different participating Coca-Cola Company brand’s icon.”
Easy peasy, or so I thought. I went and specifically bought a Coke Zero Sugar 20oz and tried to scan that logo and the same rejection came up. I looked closely and the SAS on Coke Zero Sugar is the same as the SAS on Coca-Cola! What the heck, I thought I was supposed to scan different brands. Fine, I’ll find 4 more. Except, NONE of the other bottles at several stores I’ve been to have SAS icons on them. Oddly enough, I found a green SAS by searching google images, scanned it, and it gave me credit for a second scan. Now I just have to figure out how to get 3 more. Is there anyone else out there that has found where to get these SAS icons? I can share the two that worked for me (and hopefully they’ll work for you) if you’re willing to share yours.

@meed18
This also happened when I tried to scan Coke Zero Sugar. So far, I have managed to get 3 of 5 icons. Diet Coke, Coke and
Cherry Sprite. None of the other flavors have sip and scan icons on them. They have old coke reward packaging. I have looked at Fanta, Seagrams and Mello Yellow.

Found those last night on SD. Worked for me.

Thank You.

How long does it take for the email to arrive with the GC? I presume that’s how it works. After finishing the scans, the offer shows that the limit is reached and to access the reward by click the rewards tab at the top, but the reward is not there.
Say, i just remembered, there was an offer some months back that was for an Amazon GC that involved texting that was to be offered at the end of the promotion. But I never got that. Anyone get that yet?
-
Okay, according to the discussion at SD, it appears that this promo is broken right now and many people are waiting for resolution from Coke. Some are getting responses to clear cookies to get the offer to show up, but that is a dodge, this is just screwed up. What a pain.
And no one seems to have received the Amazon gift cards from months ago either.
-
I got the ‘clear cookies’ response. Really didn’t make sense (and didn’t work, either). What a huge pain this one has been! Half my codes don’t scan at all, or I have to scan multiple times to get credit. Then I get the ‘Oops!’ message that I have already scanned that code when I haven’t. Will only credit 1 Coke product, not Coke Zero, Diet Coke and regular Coke as it states in the terms. Coke really should do better!
-
Same here - someone showed this to me on Monday it worked fine for them and right away they got the reward on there account within seconds - so I tried today and got no reward ,nothing but says I already received after scanning the last code. Many time getting a code then getting the message it was scaned after several trys !! So to see it get counted - signed out and back in and then it showed up! But still a no award !! So maddening!!

Hi,
I don’t understand how to scan the icons. When my camera opens, do I click to take a pcture, then say ok? Or do I just hold the camera over the icon? It doesn’t seem to do anything.
-
@i-mnotphat Just hold the phone camera over the sip & scan icons & your phone should tell you it did or didn’t count. You have to be logged into your Account on your phone at Coke.com/Offers. An iPad works too.

So everyone please check and redeem before the offer expires!

The expiration date is almost here and they still haven’t fixed the problem. So if it doesn’t get fixed in time, then what?
-
Some people on SD are reporting that reward is showing up to claim in their rewards box. Some not. None of my family’s accounts has gotten it yet. Only a few hours remaining before the offer expires. I sure hope Coke will make right on this if it doesn’t show up in time.

On that contest/giveaway, it said 8-10 weeks after the promotion end date of Jan 2, 2018. They still have 2 more weeks.

Thanks, yes.
Target offer did not get fixed for everyone by yesterday’s expiration date. I noticed the wording in the offer area changed from something about claiming the reward in the rewards box to, “OOPS! We’re experiencing an issue. Please try again.”, which is what it still says for me. Still waiting and hoping for resolution.

Still no gift card on any of my family accounts, and the offer is no longer showing (not unexpected, since it’s expired), so I guess i’ll wait up to a week or so to see if they rectify this before I inquire further. I tend to think this is going to require pestering them to get satisfaction.
