Walmart quickly abandoned their previous grocery delivery programs so we’ll see how far they get this time. However, with a flat $9.95 fee per delivery, there is no way they can hope to compete with Amazon.

the issue is amazon has it’s shipping cost built in despite some still paying for shipping, Walmart has bottom barrel prices.

And if it’s a flat rate, if you order $200 and pay the $9.95 fee you may still be saving quite a bit over the same items from Amazon.

@mistercheap is the $9.95 flat rate? only issue I see is rural delivery, much of America is rural and not in a city with the walmart.

@frugalfreak I saw article that said it was delivering to “select cities” and I knew that meant “not me”. Not that I’d buy my groceries from them anyway…
