Can some of the pros direct me on the best ways to save at Lowe’s? I have a larger purchase coming up (approx $1,100). I see gift cards being offered here often but I usually do not see them fast enough… Thanks in advance for any info!!

I just moved and got 3 of the 10% movers coupons in 3 separate mailers they sent. They also gave me access to print one in an confirmation email they sent. YMMV

You should ‘triple dip’ for the most savings. Buy a Lowe’s gift card (10-15% off) and then use a Lowe’s 10% or $20 off $100 code on your purchase. Apply the code and then pay with your discounted g/c. And be sure to use a cashback site, e.g. Ebates to get another % return. I’m not sure if Lowe’s is limiting g/c usage to 5 per transaction still. Check with your local store and if necessary split up your order. You didn’t state if it was one item for $1,100 or just a total, it makes a difference which coupons and codes to use. You’ll have to calculate that for yourself. I hope that helps!

Oops, I forgot to mention: if you catch a Lowe’s GC deal on eBay and pay with a Chase Freedom card via PayPal, you can get 5% cash back through June 30, 2018 (the other Q2 categories are grocery stores and Chase Pay).

It may not be of much use to you since it requires a (small) initial purchase and you only have one large purchase, but for 20% off…

If you have a Discover Card, you can redeem your cashback for gift cards too. I used $45 cashback to purchase a $50 Lowes gift card (there is also $100 GC for $90 cashback).
I’ve been doing MyPoints for years and had enough points to redeem for a Lowes gift card.
I also used BeFrugal.com to purchase my item online (store pick-up) for 2% cashback.I was able to purchase a Rubbermaid 7x7 shed ($649, sale $549) for $429 today
