  • I don’t see Instant Pot via Prime Now. I only see Whole Foods items.

  • Initially this went in and out of stock pretty quickly. I missed out and then was stuck in logon hell when Amazon site was acting up and that issue was reported elsewhere. Later in the day I tried, via phone app, and it allowed me to put 2 in my cart. I emptied cart and was allowed to add just the one I wanted. I settled for the advertised price and did not attempt any other price reductions. So far so good. If you see any other “deals” today and have issues keep trying.

Looks like they sold out online too, so I’ll expire this thread. Too bad they’re not allowing preordering since Amazon said they’d extend temporary Prime Day deals through the end of the entire sale since they botched things up so badly yesterday that most people had problems using their site and/or buying anything.

  • So if you are shopping (or live) in an area where PrimeNow is supported, you will see shipping options of 2 hours delivery, 1 hour delivery, etc…by selecting either of these shipping options…the purchase is flagged as prime now and the discount mentioned in this thread can be applied? Is that a correct understanding of prime now crap?

Not really. First, you have to be a Prime member to use Prime Now. As you noted, you must live in a qualified delivery area/near a fullfilment warehouse (you’ll be asked for your zip code on the app or, if you use the website, it will be checked automatically). You need to order through their Prime Now website or Prime Now app (not Amazon .com). Your order must meet the minimum purchase requirement to get free delivery (varies by delivery area), or you’ll be charged a $4.99 delivery fee. Optionally, you can edit the tip amount. You will be presented with a number of 2 hour delivery blocks over the next two days (from 10am to 10pm) to choose the most convenient delivery time for you. Since Prime Now is linked to your Amazon account/uses the same login info, any credits on your Amazon account should be available to use on Prime Now orders, and you can also enter discount/coupon codes on the checkout screen.

Let me know if any of that is unclear or if you have any other questions.
