This is an okay deal on ice cream by itself, but if you’re a prime member, you can combine that with the 10% discount where you’d be able to buy:
- Two pints of ice cream for $5.40 -OR-
- Four pints for $10.80 and then you would qualify to get extra $10 credit to spend on Amazon’s prime day deals on starting on July 16th
note: there are IP’s around for BenJerry & Talenti, also an IBOTTA offer for Talenti. google is your friend for IP’s.
-
@MISTERCHEAP There is also a $0.25 Ibotta rebate for any brand and any size of ice cream that should offset some of the taxes for ya.

Does the spend $10 offer for Amazon have to be $10 before or after coupons? Does it definitively say anywhere?

Well, it’s going to take $10 off, so if your total after $10 is less then $10, what do you expect - a credit? I’m going to go ahead and guess it will take $10 off after all other coupons apply (or together with them, depending on how it’s coded.

Maybe I didn’t word it right. I meant the $10 spend st Whole Foods. I imagine you would have to have a $10 oop spend after coupons.
-
@mrvietnam I expect it to be $10 after store coupons. Manufacturers’ coupons shouldn’t matter.
-
After the Whole Foods purchase, you get a confirmation email:
“Your recent Whole Foods Market purchase earned you $10 to spend on Prime Day.”
-
Did the 10 back on 10 @ WF yesterday.
Also did the Amazon Cash 10 back on 30 @ CVS.
Can’t get the $5 coupon from the Amazon app scan/search promo to pop.
I may pull the trigger on a targeted Load 100 Get 10 that appears on the desktop view of my account.
Am I missing any other stackable opps?

You can buy a gift card (Amazon or a third party) to satisfy the $10 spend at Whole Foods.

I didn’t even know they sold GCs at Whole Foods. I wonder if my store just doesn’t carry them. Where are they located?

Not sure. I will go later today. I was just passing on information from another deal board of several people who have confirmed they have them and it works. After they made the purchase they got the e-mail confirmation from Amazon.
-
@fivetalents Browser extension installed per your instructions. 5 off 25 offer popped. Expires in 10 days. I’ll use it along with the other free money on Prime Day (7/16).

Funny. I just installed the browser extension but no offer was given to me.

Just back from Whole Foods. The gift cards are located near the Hangar Bar, next to the customer service desk in the front of the store. I bought a variable load Home Depot card and put the minimum required $15 load and I instantly got the Amazon e-mail confirmation.
-
Just returned from Whole Foods and can confirm that the purchase of an Amazon gift card works to get the $10 Prime Day credit. At my Whole Foods the minimum Amazon GC purchase is $25 but it’s money I will spend anyway on Monday.
Just an FYI - I needed to download the Whole Foods app, link to my Amazon account then show the QR code that appeared before making the purchase. A linked telephone number is supposed to work but did not for me despite several attempts by the cashier. It was easier to just use the app.

I came to post essentially what you did except I didn’t get the Amazon GC because my GC balance is high enough and I didn’t want to add more than $10.
My phone number would not work either even though I verified that it is correct before I left home and while in store. I found out that if you don’t have or want the Whole Foods app, you can use the Amazon shopping app to do the same thing.
Just open the shopping app, and search for “wholefoods qr.” Then click on “Scan your Whole Foods Market QR code.”
Also, while you’re there, there is a MM on the Flow alkaline spring water through a $1.50 ibotta rebate. They’re regularly priced at $1.39 at my store, but are on sale for 5 for $5 (I just bought one for a $1 since I needed a filler).

@sonofzeus There is also a $10 off $20 offer with first mobile shopping app sign in for Prime members (most of us probably don’t qualify/have used the app before, but since we’re making a list…).

Purchased a WF $10 GC (didn’t want to add to my AZ GC balance either) using the QC code from the AZ App (as explained above), got the AZ email conf shortly thereafter.
Only options I found where GC’s could be purchased for as low a $10 were a WF GC itself (which can apparently be purchased for as little as $5) or a Google Play variable load GC (starting @ $10). iTunes GC’s started @ $15 (and as already mentioned, so did HomeDepot).
Also tried the browser extension (repeatedly) today – no luck.
BTW, at WF customer service desk, CSR mentioned that WF also sells $25/$50/$100 Visa GC’s, but those are kept “in the back” (presumably somewhere behind the customer service desk).
Upon looking at the (customer accessible) GC rack (that has the non Visa GC’s) more carefully, I actually saw slots for Visa, MC, and AMEX GC’s (where it said to talk to a store associate). No idea how much the activation fees are, but w/ 10% back via the Chase Amazon CC (up to $400) for Prime holders for the next day or so, it’s unlikely a money loser (may not be a huge money maker though).
-
@TheDiggler I’ve heard that some people who’ve had problems getting the browser extension promo sometimes get the $5 credit applied to their account manually by calling customer service.
I wonder if @Ma-Barker has any thoughts on the value of Whole Foods Visa/MC/Amex GCs (at least she’ll know “that’s a thing” now).
-
Activation fee for $100 Visa is $5.95. The other two are breakeven and money loser.
-
The $10 credit is active. It does NOT work with purchasing of gift cards.

BTW, I noticed that after searching for and clicking the Whole Foods QR code, a new tab was added to my cart called “Whole Foods code.” So it seems you only have to search for it once and if you click on it it will be added to your account permanently (i.e., you don’t have to search for it every time).

That requires having an AMEX card that earns MR points. I have plenty of AMEX cards, but none which earn MR points.
No Kindle (or Fire 7 Tablet) for me. My consolation prize is… [knock-off brand] scotch tape!!!
