Bananas are competitively priced at 49 cents a pound at my local Walmart.

@MrVietnam Hi, for future reference, deals like this for groceries where you first have to buy the item and then get the coupon money back via an app go in grocery. (it’s like IBOTTA or Savingstar)

if you can do the deal for in-store pick up and get the money, hot deals is allowed, but obviously this is not such a situation.

Even though Walmart’s main line of business is not a grocery or drugstore? Last time when you said when it was not free from the get go is goes in Hot Deals. I guess if it is an edible item that is the difference, even if the store is not a grocery or drugstore.

Mr. V, most Walmarts have a dedicated grocery store type operation (as do Target) where they sell fresh produce, meat, etc. So their grocery items are considered Grocery B&M.

When we are dealing with coupon apps or digital coupons for grocery items, they still go in grocery as they are an extension of digital coupons.

Obviously had this been an IBOTTA offer for $1.50 in bananas or Savingstar I think most of us know they are primarily used for Grocery/HBA type offers with some exceptions. They are pretty much a twist on digital coupons versus cashback offers or formal rebate submissions.

I know it’s a little confusing, but I think you’ll agree that IBOTTA offers and Savingstar offers always get posted in B&M Grocery for grocery type items, the coupons.com app is just like those and should be posted in the same area.

  • can coupons.com app coupons be used as well as SB for the same item ?

can coupons.com app coupons be used as well as SB for the same item ?

If by SB you mean SwagBucks, the printable grocery coupons on SwagBucks are from Coupons .com, so they are exactly the same coupon but obtained from a different site. Therefore, you can not double dip duplicate coupons on the same item.

However, if you buy two identical items and use one printable SwagBucks coupon at checkout and upload your receipt in the Coupons .com app on which you have added the identical e-coupon, you should be reimbursed for the e-coupon for the second item. I don’t know what happens in the app if the print limit is 1/exceeded, but you’d still get your print and redemption bonuses from SwagBucks, which is currently $0.26 per coupon.

Can I use printable coupons with my purchase?

We do not allow coupon stacking. At Coupons .com, we take into account coupons associated with your item’s final line price. If you upload a picture of your receipt showing a Manufacturer or Vendor coupon applied to your eligible item, your cash back request will be denied and you will be asked to submit a different receipt. Manufacturer & vendor coupons do not include retailer promotions or loyalty programs.
