Good deal. Buy 2 $200 Mastercardd and get $36.10 of free money, albeit in the form of a BBBY gift card. Easy to liquidate the fraud-prone Mastercards by paying a bill online. I will prepay my cable Internet.
-
The last time I bought prepaid MC I went from the store directly to my accountant’s where I prepaid fee for my tax return.
If one is the gambling sort one might take these to Sears and use them on a 100% back in points offer.
I’d be doing that if this deal was available in my State.
-
Use the Mastercards for Sears 109% back in points offers? So instead of losing the money to hackers, lose the money to Sears when they go belly up? No, thanks.
You’re right about it being a big gamble, but I suppose if all the SYW point payouts were this year, you might be OK. Can’t help but notice Sears changed most of their deals to, instead of paying out in monthly instsllments, paying out in weekly installments.

Bed Bath actually has some good deals . they often run $5/15 or $15/50 coupons this time of year (better than their usual 20% off one item Q). They may even price match, but I’m not certain on that. and some stores will accept Q long after expiration dates (BBB Q’s I mean)
-
@MISTERCHEAP Hourly would be nice!
I started with $498 in Sears gc. I’ve done $660 worth of cash back offers using only my gc. Right now I have $100+ on my gc and $40 in pts. Another $300+ in pts will become available when 2nd installments post on Nov. 18. So in theory on Nov. 18 my gc could be back up to $400. If I didn’t “buy” anything else, another $95 will post on Dec. 18 and that will be everything I’m owed. So essentially $660 worth of free merchandise.

I was wondering if BBB is considered a “department store” for Chase Freedom. Look like it’s NOT.

no, it is not.
-
@c3 Its a one department store: home goods vs. having more than one dept., e.g. Macy’s and Kohls have clothing as well as home goods.

If it helps anyone: Visit one of our stores between 6am and 12 noon on Black Friday, Nov 23rd to get a coupon for 20% off entire purchase. Coupon valid all day on Black Friday.
-
I went to Bed, Bath, and Beyond today on Black Friday shortly after opening and they were sully stocked with gift cards, but no $200 Mastercards to be seen. Was Bed, Bath, and Beyond open yesterday? The employees there knew nothing of this offer.
They were also passing out the above coupon tfivetalents posted o every customer who came in (the store was pretty empty).

- Stores were closed on Thanksgiving Day, but their BF sale went live online yesterday. Sounds like your store dropped the ball on the $200 GCs and this deal.
- They’ve been handing out the “20% off everything all day” coupons until noon on BF for a number of years… and my store is usually VERY active, but not jam packed.

I’m assuming you can’t use a Bed Bath & Beyond Git Card to buy this prepaid MasterCard GC?
