Good deal, MC. For me it was $6.74 after the subscription, not $6.75, with $3.37 back in rewards. I bought 2 so that should qualify me for the $10 spend I need this month for ink cart recycling. That makes each package of Charmin Essentials only $3.89 after rewards and sales tax. The only downside with this deal is you can’t pay with Office Depot gift cards when ordered a subscription order. They require a credit card or Pay Pal. I will get free delivery which will be nice. Don’t forget to go through a cash back site for further savings. Now I just got to remember to cancel the subscription after the TP is delivered. I put the time interval for shipments 6 months in case I forget for a while to cancel.

When I hung out for a bit a screen popped up encouraging me to finish my order and get 20% off one item. It brought my OOP from 14.52 down to 13.07 after tax for 2 Charmin Strongs. So now I will only pay $3.50 after tax and rewards for each pack of TP , rather than $3.89 without the 20% coupon.

I don’t know about all subscriptions, but for the TP it would not allow me. At checkout when I wanted to change my payment method from the default credit card, it said (and I quote):
Choose Payment Method
Credit Card or PayPal is needed for Subscriptions.

@mrvietnam yes, i used on the TP with no issue. As far as the error you mentioned, it happened to me before( last yr), but was system glitch that only lasted for a few hours then fixed itself later, was on regular orders though.

OK. I guess it is a long running error for me. I got the same “error” yesterday morning and this morning when I placed a mock order so I could quote what it said for you, it said the same thing. Congrats on being able to use up some of your gift cards on this. I wonder why this glitch only happened to me and not you. Hmmm…

It is not just you, I see it is now 9.99 for me too. It looks like they raised the price midweek some time. Luckily I ordered it last Sunday when it was still 7.49.
However, I noticed they only paid me 50% back in Rewards one one pack even though I ordered the limit of 2, so I called Office Depot Rewards customer service and he manually credited me $5 in rewards. So I was able to get both packs for only $5 after rewards and tax, or 2.50 each. Great deal.

Curious, did you have the 20% coupon on one and not the other? I’ve found when there’s two unique prices on each item in the order, the rewards gets screwed up. Had that happen with a KCUP order back in December when it was 100% rewards but used the 20% off Q on one of the boxes.

Bingo, MC. I had a 20% off one item coupon in the order, That must have been it. I wonder why that would matter. Ahouldn’t you just get rewards back for what you actually paid OOP? I guess their system is messed up. Nice to know about the two unique prices on one item in an order thing for future ordering. I actually made an extra couple dollars from calling in because I should have just got $3 and change back for missed rewards, but he gave me $5.
