If I use a prepaid visa g.c for which I received 5% back when I bought it, am I effectively paying $90.95 for $100?
Then, if my avatar uses the Shaws visa g.c to buy a vgc is that effectively paying $85.95 for $100?

The 1st line sounds right, but most grocery stores don’t allow you to use a Visa GC to buy a Visa GC. Also, Visa GCs doesn’t give 5% off grocery store (or any) purchases, so wouldn’t you just be exchanging $100 GCs and lose another $5.95 fee?

@fivetalents I’ve used/ rolled prepaid g.c at Shaws before.
I’m not finding the offer though. 😕

My Amex gives 3% back on groceries.I have bought plenty of gift cards at Safeway with my BCE and BCP.
This offer works with the $500 variable cards, which I use to pay federal tax.

Variable load gc aren’t sold in my supermarkets.
Shaw’s runs deals for prepaid MC and they aren’t available in my state.
Prepaid Amex gc not sold in my state.
When it existed, Bluebird wasn’t in the state.
No Serve either.
