BJ's Wholesale Club Open House through Nov 4, 2018 (no membership required, no surcharge) + 3 month free trial (if desired)

BJ’s Wholesale Club has an Open House in which everybody (including non-members) can shop at B&M locations SURCHARGE FREE through Nov 4, 2018.
As part of the promo, they’re also offering a 3 month free trial membership (not required to sign up), which is useful if you want to shop online @ BJs.com (or continue shopping at B&M locations past Nov 4, 2018).
Attached is a scanned copy of a promo card they provided at a table (upon entry) for non-members, where they try to get you to sign up for 1 yr for $25 or a 3 month free trial. You need not sign-up for either option as the promo card itself has a barcode in the lower right-hand corner which serves as your membership card (to use during checkout).

BJ’s currently has a sale on some GC’s (including fee free Visa GC’s, YMMV on finding them). Some are only valid on-line.

Chase Freedom & Discover are both offering 5% back this quarter on Wholesale Clubs (i.e. BJ’s, Costco, Sams). GC’s above (especially VISA GC’s) are a nice way to cash out the bonus.
Side note: The Southwest Airline GC for $179.99 did not ring up at the sale price in-store. Ended up signing up for a 90 day trial to order the GC on-line @ BJs.com

Their Black Friday ad has been posted, in case that might help anyone decide if getting the 3 month trial is worthwhile (above and beyind their normal prices).
