also new Q’s for CG in today’s SS Inserts as well as IP’s at coupons.com
with the 30% off, BC and Man Q’s possibly the cover girl stuff would be even a better deal than the hair dye or some combo of the two.
-
The best deal is with CG foundation but the q beeps and only certain ones work for the gc.
-
Link to 30% off Q referenced in OP.

MM SCENARIO with Cover Girl and $10 Coty Visa Rebate (requires 30% Q, 2 x $2/1 CG Foundation Q’s and 1x $1/1 CG Lip item Q) also requires manu coupons being pushed through as they beep (although very much for the right items) and possibly a further .75 adjustment as the 30% off is worth more than the B1G1 50% off)
On one transaction:
Buy 2 CG Luminescent Warm Honey T30 Foundation ($10.99 B1G1 50%) $10.99 and $5.49
Buy 1 Cover Girl Metallic Shine Love Me Later (a pinkish red lipstick) #515 $5.94 net a/30%
Total is about $22.43 plus tax.
Less .75 30% off adj on the foundation = $21.68 (ymmv on cashier doing it)
Less coupons noted above (they do beep, total pain as the items are correct use of the Q’s) = $16.68
Get back $13 in Bonus Cash ($10 for the foundation, $3 for Lipstick)
Submit for $10 Visa from Coty= $23 BC/Visa back on about $16.68-$17.43 + tax

have done two Coty rebates on two wellness cards w/the exact deal I outlined above.
Rebate process was easy and quick, both approved simply by uploading the receipt with no other documentation. Coupons did not adversely affect nor did paying with points.
Nice deal, thanks @MrVietnam

Thanks for the scenario, MC. I plan on doing it on both of my cards later today. By the way, where do you get the Covergirl coupons needed for the deal from? Why would having the cashier scan the 30% off be YMMV on the cashier doing it? I think the only YMMV issue would be having the cashier be willing to manually push through the manufacturer coupons. So after tax you are looking at about a $3 MM.
-
@MISTERCHEAP do you know if the CG ip’s beep?

No, I don’t. Only used the insert kind. But those did beep.

Answering my own question here. The Covergirl coupons are in the 12/8 aa insert,
I have a coupon that RA mailed to me for $4 off a $20 purchase. I wonder if I would still get the Visa card if my total was about $16 or o after coupons? I think I will just buy an extra $4 of free product to play it safe and keep my spend to above $20.

MC, just checking. Is the lipstick you referred to in your post have a last four of the UPC number of 8461?

@MrVietnam Have it put away, however on the top of the lipstick it should show a sticker with the color and the number should show 515 and Love Me Later as the color name. However, any lipstick in that Metallic Shine series should work for this deal.

Well, I did the offer and was approved for the Visa card. It turned out to be a $7.03 MM for me plus I was able to get 3 boxes of tall kitchen bags from the dollar section all for free.
I had a $4 off $20 RA coupon, so I got the three items you suggested, MC, and sure enough the coupons beeped so the cashier manually entered them, but then for some reason when the cashier was trying to manually enter the $1 coupon it said in order to do that I needed to buy $1.48 more, so I hurried and went with my go to item - tall kitchen bags from the dollar section. I got three boxes for $2.10 and that satisfied that and then it said I needed 48 more cents. Finally she said I didn’t need it after all but when the receipt came out the $1 manually added coupon did not come off, but I told her not to worry about it as I also noticed two $1 L2C coupons did come off, so I made a dollar from it anyway. Plus with the $4 off $20 it padded the MM. All in all I paid $15.97 in Bonus Cash, but got back $13 in Bonus Cash plus I was approved for the $10 Visa, so $23 - 15.97 = a $7.03 MM. Not bad at all. I chose the Virtual Visa card and it came immediately.
I am not sure why exactly the cashier had a problem manually entering the $1 coupon and why it said I had to buy $1.48 more, but I can always use kitchen trash bags so no big deal. It was probably due to the mix of coupons and store coupons I was attempting to use. Probably some kind of a glitch in the system, but I do appreciate my willing cashier.
I am out of foundation coupons, so I think I am done with this deal, but I am glad I was able to make $7 and get 3 boxes of free trash bags from it.
I still have about $48 in both of my Wellness accounts and a lot if it will expire on 12/27, so I think I will be buying a lot of something at Rite Aid in the next two weeks.

glad it worked out for you @MrVietnam I did have a $3 off $20 for one of my two orders so that was a decent MM as well. Agreed, was impressed how quickly the Coty site approved and sent these rebate VISAS. one of the easiest online rebates I’ve ever done.

When you use a $/$$ Catalina coupon you have to subtract the value of any L2c. If your total was $20 and you had e.g. $2 L2c then you need another $2 in product for the $/$$ to work or $22 in merchandise.
Braun hair trimmer RR $29.99, $20.99 30% off less $5/1 in ad Q =$15.99. Get back $10 BC. I’ve only found 1 per store.
-
Good find, Maine. Thanks. $5.99 for a $30 hair trimmer. Is the limit 2 or 4 on the BC? These would make good Christmas gifts.
-
14 cent Nutella
Nutella 13oz $4.49 x 0.7 = $3.14 -$1 L2C = $2.14 oop, get back $1 s*, $1 c51 = $0.14 final

I went to the store to look at the hair trimmer and it looked pretty cheap quality. I thought it would be a full size item to cut hair for that price. I passed.

Curious if anyone knows the answer to this scenario:
Let’s say you buy an item that has Bonus Cash tied to it. You need to return the item and exchange it for another type, flavor, etc of same item but you’ve already maxed out on the bonus cash offer. So does the BC you earned the first go round get deducted and not re-added for the exchanged item since the system thinks you’ve maxed out?
If that’s the case guess you’ll have to call customer service to get it straightened out. The question sort of applies to these ‘general’ offers, like spend $40, get $10 BC, you exchange an item after that drops the original receipt total below $40 and you lose the $10? Have to call cust. service to get it straightened out.

In the past your BC would stay even if you returned the item. but it may be different now. You should just make the exchange and if your BC stays, great. If it goes away, call or chat with customer service.
My “problem” is I have about $48 in BC on two different Wellness cards and two weeks to use it.
