Have you had SYSCO products in your stores? SYSCO is a national supplier of groceries to restaurants. Someone had the brilliant idea to sell SYSCO stuff in Shaws et al right now.
Sysco’s business is down due to restaurants being closed.
Supermarkets haven’t been able to get stuff due to supply line shut downs.
Win Win. The food is high quality-- restaurant grade but large units.
I got a 6 lb can of chickpeas for $1.49. Usually I pay ~ $2 for 1 lbs. Now I have to figure out how I’m going to repackage them once I open the can.
Last week 10 lbs of whole chicken legs/thighs for $4.90. I got a single strip of bacon at the meat counter 41¢ and submitting for $5 back wyb meat NBPR rebate.

Even though the coupon is good through Monday, they may very well be out of stock at that time. This is something you probably would want to pick up today if you wanted to find it in stock.
I don’t know in different areas if they have $1 off coupons for different departments within the store *bakery, produce, frozen items, etc.) but it makes for some pretty good deals sometimes when used strategically. We also sometimes have $1 off any $1 purchase coupons, too, and when we do I can stack them with a specific $1 off department coupon.
I haven’t seen SYSCO products in my area, but to be honest I haven’t been looking either. I will look the next time I am there, which will be soon as I will be getting my free ice cream sandwiches. I rarely shop at Safeway family stores in my area (except for free or sale items) because they are very expensive. I usually shop at a Kroger family store called Food4Less, which is much cheaper than the Safeway alternative.

$1 off Produce I got $1 worth of cherries. Used a produce bag as a glove and picked out ~$1 worth. Really cheap cherries.
$1 off O Organics works on the 8 oz. bottles of milk. $1.29, on sale $1. Free milk.
$1 off frozen. We had 99¢ Klondike bars. Bought 2 for $1.98, less $1 so 98¢ for 2. Maybe buy 2 packages of Signature ice cream sandwiches.Just finishing entering receipts for 2019. Total on groceries $311 after rebates but doesn’t include cc % back.

Same here. Sold out of the six pack boxes. Let’s hope they restock soon. Probably the best time to come is in the early morning not too long after the store opens.

I went again this morning right after the store opened looking for the six count boxes of ice cream sandwiches. I didn’t see any there today either. I saw someone stocking the ice cream freezer and I asked him if he had any of the six count boxes of ice cream sandwiches and he said not now buy they may be getting some more in on Tuesday (the day after the free coupon expires). Looks like no free ice cream for me.

I went to one Acme about 9:30 this morning and they had no ice cream sandwiches. I went home a different way and stopped in a busier store (that usually never has any freebies left) around 10:30 and they had 3-4 boxes.

I looked two different days at two different stores and they never had any. What a waste of time. They should actually offer freebies for something they have plenty of stock, or at least some stock.
