I will pass too as yesterday I bought 10 bottles of 8 oz XtraCare hand sanitizer for $1.99 a bottle from officedepot.com with 30% back in rewards, so that will count as my $10+ monthly spend to qualify for ink rewards. After cashback and rewards each bottle will be only $1.29. The 30% back in rewards code was given to me by customer service. I have enough batteries to last years to come, so I am glad I was able to get some cheap hand sanitizer instead. It’s made in China though and reviewers have said it has a funky smell even though it is supposed to be fragrance free. but as long as it does the job is all that really matters.

just make sure it doesn’t contain methanol, many ‘off’ brands of sanitizer were recalled by the FDA.

Would Office Depot even be selling brands that have been recalled? I doubt it. I already checked and this brand is not on the list.

There were literally dozens involved, just a reminder as things can fall through the cracks. (ie, Office Depot didn’t get the memo)

I wish they would have other things for 100% back in Rewards then always batteries or coffee pods. I guess it is like Staples in the past always just offering reams of paper for one cent after rebate.
I guess I should be grateful though no matter what it is as long as I can meet my $10+ purchase requirement and get all the money except for tax back in rewards. It’s just though that I am starting to have quite a collection of batteries, more than I will probably ever realistically be able to use.
I used to do the rebates at Staples for many years before they pulled the plug on them. Many years ago instead of ream paper they used to give away photo paper. I have about 60 packs of photo paper sitting in my garage.

Really? How do you know? That would be great if it’s true. I hate to pay $20 for some leaking battery. I think the optimum is a little better.
