PSA: Staples will laminate Covid vaccination cards for free until 4/3

When I received my second dose I was told “don’t laminate it!” because they won’t be able to write on it if/when we receive booster shots. They said to instead make a photocopy or scan both sides, place back to back, and laminate that. Then carry that with you and keep the original in a safe place.

Well, since I won’t get my second dose of Pfizer until 4/10, looks like I will pass on this offer.

I’ll second Dilly101, there are still empty spaces on there for boosters, don’t laminate it. However, instead of the copy technique my “copy” is a digital image on my phone.
What I’ve been looking for is a pouch that’s the right size for the cards, though.

a small ziploc bag might work or even better for laminating, make a copy reduced down to wallet size, laminate that to carry in your wallet.

@mistercheap A Ziploc would protect it from water, not from being crunched.

true, but that was offered as a suggestion to those who didn’t wish to laminate it.

What a great idea and deal. I was just about to go get my free Krispy Kreme donut and was worried about getting my CovID card sticky I’ll have to stop by Staple’s first.
