AARP Membership Memorial Day Sale - 5 Years for $45

Works out to be $9 per year for the mathematically challenged.

Great deal, but can anyone tell me how they’ve used it to save money? I used to get free coffee from Dunkin’ but they killed that a couple years ago so now I can’t think of anything I’d use it for honestly.

Some of the discounted gift cards they have are for members only. For example, here are a couple for May. They change a bit (retailers and discount amount) from month to month.

@harperr Thanks. Is there a link where I can see what is offered this month? And can you buy multiples? It may be worth the membership just for this benefit if so.
-
@orthros I believe you can sign up for a free membership (just create an account). That should allow you to see what gift cards they have and you should be able to buy some of the non-member gift cards. It will also allow you to decide if a membership is worth it for you.

I have a membership card to AARP. Can you renew it, for $45 for 5 years?
-
@orthros Pays for itself for what it saves at Outback, Carrabba’s and Bonefish Grill.

I do miss the free donut from Dunkin.
