Walmart has their house brand sodium bicarbonate for 48 cents per pound. I use it in my pool instead of expensive pool supply chemical (Alkalinity Up etc.).
I also found it on sale at Stop and Shop for 49 cents per pound.

Gold is now selling for $1805 per ounce. Compared to gold, 3 cents is .0000166 of gold. That’s an infinitesimally small amount! Go for it!
