Staples in-store pandemic-themed Apache Mills door mats clearance, $1.46, YMMV

A big YMMV but some stores are clearing these out for as low as $1.46, down from $37.00.
I watched them get reduced to $5 something first, then finally to $1.46… I watched them get reduced to $5 something first, then finally to $1.46…
There were also “Wash Your Hands” and “Wear A Mask” editions, but I lost out on those, LOL.
Brickseek on the above mat (note they all show up priced full retail online).

Like flu and colds, CV-19 will never disappear.
These mats will be a reminder to practice self-defense to stay well many moons from now.

@my4mainecoons said in Staples in-store pandemic-themed Apache Mills door mats clearance, $1.46, YMMV: What’s the quality of the mat? Well, it’s pretty heavy/thick and not likely to move around. But it’s sorta smooth and probably not the best for removing dirt.
Did I mention it was $1.46?

@ukedog Yes you mentioned the price but I have a bunch of (after) Christmas $1 doormats from Sears that have never been used. They are a little fuzzy but not very heavy. It sounds like these might be similar. Staples dot com info below. You and I have different ideas of heavy & thick, lol. 7 ounces, 0.35" = light/thin in my book. Thickness in Inches 0.35
 True Color Red; White
 Warranty (months) 0
 Weight 7.5
 Width in Inches 24

@my4mainecoons It’s 7.5 lbs, not ounces. It’s closer to a solid rubber mat (no “nap”) than it is to a carpet.
It does have an impressive warranty though.

@ukedog well if they’re not good for wiping your feet they might be good as anti-fatigue mats.

I got the blue Wash Your Hands and a black Maintain Six Feet. I wasn’t a fan of the red Wear a Mask. They’re going under litter boxes. Also picked up bleach tablets for $0.46 each. Add 1 tablet to a quart of water to clean surfaces or one to a load of laundry. I have a spray bottle with bleach & water. 1:10 will disinfect but I have to figure out what the concentration is when you add 1 tablet to 32 oz. As an added bonus I got the last Road Runner ice melt for $0.46 as well. Two $10/$20 Qs printed on my receipt!
