Amazon Prime: Free $10 AMZ Credit when you activate 'stamp card' see post ex 7/13
-
Through July 13th you can get a FREE $10 Amazon Credit when you activate a StampCard and complete the tasks! How fun is that! This offer is for Amazon Prime Members Only
-
Looks like a relatively easily $10. Thanks, MC.
However, the $10 is not just when you activate the stamp card, there are 4 distinct things you have to do to earn the 4 stamps needed to earn that $10 Amazon gift card, but they are all easy enough to do:
Make a Prime-eligible purchase
Stream a show on Prime Video
Listen to a song with Prime Music
Borrow an eBook on Prime ReadingI like it when Amazon has these Prime only offers. Helps give more value to a Prime membership.

any idea when/if there will be a Prime Day?

When I went to the front page of amazon.com, there is a headline that says it will be on July 12-13, so in about 4 more weeks.

I’ve been scoring multiple Amazon $3 gift cards by taking targeted surveys on products I’ve purchased. Sent as e-mail invitation. If you get an invitation, the survey is always about a recent purchase & will NEVER ask for account info…if it does BEWARE.

Just curious. I have not been getting the survey invitations. What kind of products have you been ordering to get these invitations?
-
By the way, I just placed an order (to earn one of the 4 stamps) and they give you the stamp almost instantly after you placed the order. So now one stamp down, three to go. The three to go are pretty simple and I could probably have those knocked down within the hour. Easy $10.
-
@mrvietnam It seems to be mostly supplements, & health related (antacids, etc). Once you complete one you’ll be asked if you want to sign up…this is important after each survey so you’ll continue to get invites.

I remember one time a few years ago I was just browsing routers on Amazon. I just browsed a certain item but did not buy and later they contacted me and wanted me to complete a survey about that product and why I chose not to buy it. I forgot how much they gave me as an incentive.
-
@mrvietnam The only info I could find (generic) but nowhere to sign up unless you actually take one.
-
Interesting, MC. When I click on your link it takes me to the stamp card and it says I can participate June 16 - July/13. I also got an e-mail today advertising the stamp card promotion and it says I can participate from June 21 - July 13. Notice the discrepancy on the start dates. I guess I can start today as I activated my stamp card and have already earned three of the four stamps. I am watching my Prime Video movie now (actually it is just playing on a different tab in the background with the sound off). I will have this stamp card knocked out as soon as the movie is over.
-
@mrvietnam So to be able to do this I should start my free 30-day trial of Prime around July 1.

@mrvietnam I already played some Prime tunes & received my music stamp almost instantly.

Yes, me too. It took a few minutes for me, but I got it. The Prime Video one is the one that could take up to 48 hours to credit. I am not sure if you have to stream the entire video or not, but just to be on the safe side I am streaming the entire video. I have one hour left. I guess Amazon screwed up with the dates in the e-mail.
-
Is the $10 only good on Prime Day?

Not sure, but I doubt it.
-
@mrvietnam I read that it was for use on Prime Day, just looking for confirmation. They’ve done similar promotions in past years: do or buy something get a $10 g.c.
ETA: It just says that you have to use it on something sold by Amazon that’s at least $5. No dates, so you’re right on that.

Streamed a show on Prime Video 24 hours ago, but still no stamp. Not too worried as they said it could take up to 48 hours to get a stamp for watching a Prime Video. That will be the last stamp I need then the next business day I should get my $10 Amazon gift card,

Same here. I wonder if this means anything:
Prime Video Channel subscribers that watch a show on one of the Prime Video Channels and have activated their Stampcard (“Activate your Stampcard”) will receive the Prime Video Stamp.
Do you actually have to subscribe to their channels or will any video stream do? Has anyone received their video stamp?
-
@lilichka523 I had the same question as you, so at first I just streamed anything, on Prime Video (I streamed Die Another Day) but after reading what you pointed out, I went to a free channel on Prime Video and relaxed and watched a couple episodes on Batman and sure enough that evening I received my Prime Video stamp. I don’t know if my watching of a channel was required, but it may have been. No need to fret though as they have a free channel to watch too (with ads, of course) with a variety of shows.
Now I got to figure out when this $10 promotional credit expires. When I know, I will let you guys know.
-

I’m with you, the James Bond movie just played in the background. I did not watch it either. I must admit I did watch the 30 minute Batman episodes though.

Is getting a $125 Amazon gc for opening an Amazon Prime Business Amex cc a good idea?
No annual fee. No spend required as far as I can tell.
I wonder what happens when my free Prime trial ends and I no longer have Prime. I guess it doesn’t matter since I won’t be using the card.Upon approval of your Amazon Business American Express Card or Amazon Business Prime American Express Card application, Amazon will load an Amazon Gift Card into the Amazon account from which you applied or, if upon approval, you receive a link provided by Amazon on the application approval page to create a new Amazon Business account and you use the link to create the new account within 30 minutes of receiving the link, Amazon will load the Amazon Gift Card into the new Amazon Business account instead. Gift Card cannot be used to purchase other gift cards. Amazon Gift Cards are issued by ACI Gift Cards, Inc., a Washington Company. See www.amazon.com/gc-legal for complete terms and conditions.

Here are some more Prime Day money makers. Most are for first timers and have probably been used by many here before so YMMV

The $135 giveaway has some good deals for new Prime members but unfortunately most offers I’d completed previously. Only the stamp card worked for me.
-
No one here gave an opinion so I went ahead and applied for the Amex Amazon Prime Business credit card that’s been on every Amazon item page I open. Pay $0 for this order. Get a $125 Amazon g.c. upon approval for the Amazon Prime business card.
Completed the application, approved in < 30s and immediately had another $125 in my gc. balance. So fast. Then used some of the above to buy a case of cat food. Earned the $10 Stamp gc. I was looking for the bonus for picking up at an Amazon locker but looks like that’s NLA.

Do you have your own business?

@mrvietnam I used to have my own business.
