I bought a can a week or so ago and got them for free with Kroger cash back, Ibotta, coupons.com and Alexa shopping. Too bad I didn’t buy 2 to get $5 more.
-
I bought 2 cans on 6/18. Received ibotta, now just need to submit for rebate.
-
I received my $5 eGC within 15 minutes of uploading my receipt BUT I was unable to use it on Amazon for a $5 Amazon g.c. That’s how I usually unload the Fandango eGC but $5 appears to be too small. If I do this rebate again I will request a plastic card. My electric company only allows 1 credit card payment every 30 days. My other utility companies charge a fee for using cc.
-
@my4mainecoons
You can do a gift card balance reload of $0.50 so you can definitely do it for $5.
-
@mtnagel Thanks. I’ll try again but I added the Blue Diamond gc just as I’ve added 10 @ $10 Fandango gc this month and the system would not let me pay with the BD gc even though it was selected as the default payment. It showed it as the default payment but that the $5 was coming out of my gc balance which makes no sense. I’d purchased $250 in Shaw’s gc using Amazon gc just prior so maybe my cart needs a little rest.

Saturday I bought two 6 oz cans of Blue Diamond Ghost Extreme almonds from Walmart and submitted my receipt. This morning I got a reply and it says: “We’re sorry to let you know but your receipt could not be accepted. The receipt does not show a qualifying purchase. Please submit your receipt with a qualifying purchase by 8/31/2022.” I just submitted a support request to their customer service. The almonds I bought had their UPC listed in their qualifying UPCs on their website, so I don’t get it.
The only possibility is I chose the wrong receipt from my scan folder when I submitted, but that is doubtful. Should I resubmit right now or wait for the reply from their customer support team? Since I already submitted a support request I might as well wait for their reply first.
I just got a reply back from Fandango about my support request:
Dear MrV,
Thank you for contacting Fandango Rewards and for your participation in this promotion.
After further review, we’re sorry to let you know that your receipt could not be accepted. The receipt does not “please choose- missing product/ duplicate receipt/explicit receipt/ illegible receipt/ not a copy of full receipt/ invalid dates/ max reward limit reached”

Best Regards,
Where do I go from here? Fandango Rewards sucks. I think I will avoid them from now on. Do they have a phone number where I can actually talk to a real person? I tired to resubmit my receipt but it wouldn’t ;et me because it said I already submitted that image.
-
I just replied to their reply:
Could you please be more exact as to why the receipt I submitted could not be accepted? In your original declination you said it was because I did not purchase the qualifying items, but indeed if you look at my receipt you will see I did and the UPCs are on the approved UPC list. So, once again, exactly why was my receipt declined?
I will post how when they reply. I wish their was some way to talk to a person.
-
@mrvietnam Did you circle the items as it says to do? Was the store logo at the top and the bottom of the receipt visible on your image? Did you use the correct format? Fortunately I realized before I submitted and re-scanned to PNG.
I don’t do Fandango rebates for online purchases. Their “Support” is non-existent.
-
@my4mainecoons
This was an in-store purchase at Walmart. However, I did not circle the items, but they were the only two items on the receipt.
It won’t let me resubmit the receipt as it said I already submitted that image.
I am finally talking indirectly to a real person. She has me on hold while she is contacting the rewards department. I called Fandango customer service and was on hold for about 45 minutes or more. I will let you know what she says. Also, a long hold while she is contacting the other department. I am still on hold now.
Actually it asks you to star the qualifying items, not circle them. I just went back and starred the qualifying purchases and it took my resubmission, so we will see if that works. Maybe their system scans the receipt to look for stat symbols and if it doesn’t see any it automatically rejects?

@mrvietnam having the same BS with my online pick up order from Target. their response is useless, don’t tell you what the real issue is, it’s like stumbling around in the dark. Hate shady BS like this, submitted another pick up thing from Target different from the 1st one, will see if they approve that. If not, I’m going to call Blue Diamond and complain how customers are being jerked around by their rebate processor.

If you call them be ready for a long wait. I have waited a LONG time and am still on hold. They used to use INMAR and I got all my rebates, but Fandango Rewards really sucks. I think the best advice is to stay away from Fandango Rewards as it is usually bad news. There comes a point when you are on hold for over an hour, closer to two hours, that you calculate how mush my time is worth.
'I misread your post. Yes, if you are going to call directly to Blue Diamond hopefully the wait wouldn’t be nearly as long. I am just shy of two hours on hold trying to talk to the rebate processor.
-
This may be like TCB with whom I haven’t had any issues but you have. I submitted 11 Fandango rebates in the past month. Only one was denied-- for lack of logo so I folded the middle of the receipt, re-scanned, re-submitted and received my rebate. As posted earlier, I received my BD rebate within minutes of submission. Waiting for my Qs to arrive so I can buy more but I probably just jinxed myself by saying that I wasn’t having issues.

Yesterday I paid $1.39 in Walmart. I had $1.50 Ibotta, $1.25 coupons.com and $1.25 Alexa shopping offers, all of which have been credited already. They only had a shelf tag for the ghost pepper version, but I saw another can of the Cayenne version. So this is definitely YMMV.
-
@mtnagel no Extremes at my WM. All of the flavors are available at RA but RA doesn’t qualify for iBotta. Walgreens wants $5.99 ea.
I bought 4 at Target @ $3.69 ea. Used 4@$1.50 mq, received 4@$1.50 iBotta and submitting for $5 rebate.
-
Used 4@$1.50 mq
Pardon my ignorance, what’s “mq”?

Since I have several Amazon Echo devices, I am interested in Alexa shopping offers. They are not tied to coupons.com in any way, right? How do you sign up for them? Can you provide a link about the cash back program? I heard they pay you in Amazon credits.
From doing some Google searches, I found some pertinent information. It looks like it is all done via the Alexa app on your phone:

Use Alexa’s shopping list to get cashback in physical grocery and pharmacy stores.
You pretty much figured it out Alexa app. Add offers. They are almost all identical to coupons.com, but not always. The process is pretty much - Buy item, submit picture of receipt, scan bar code. Get $ back as Amazon gift card. First time it took days, but now it’s been within 24 hours lately. You can double dip with coupons.com. Amazon has always given me my credit when coupons.com has rejected it (when an item was on sale, for example).

I also have Google Home. Hopefully one day Google Home will also have something similar.

I wonder if you even need an Echo device to use the Alexa app? Maybe you just need the app and an Amazon account. I’d give a try.

I do have several Echo devices, so that is not an issue for me. My above comment just meant that I also have several Google Home devices, also. I use them both as I feel they complement each other.
