There’s mention of a Master Card Debit Card, I really don’t want a debit card. Is that a requirement to receive for opening this?
As for the Bar Code deal at WalMart, you have to pay with funds from this app via that bar code, then you get it back? Take it that’s B&M purchase only.
Is giving your social security # required to open? any credit pull?

- IIRC they ask for name/address/mobile phone/last 4 digits SSN. I got zero notice of a credit pull for this checking app. Credit unions have done soft pulls.

Today I purchased a $15 Walmart giftcard at the customer service desk and used OnePay linked to my debit card. Instantly received $15 back in my One savings. Swept immediately to my Chase checking.

At one point I was trying to transfer money from an external account in the One app and it said I had to initiate it from my external account even though I pull from One the previous day. I set my my external account to link to One and then I tried again later and it I could pull from the One app. They are definitely having issues.
Anyway, besides the streaming services deal, I also have a deal for 5% back on utilities up to $15. There’s a $1.50 fee to pay by debit card with Duke, but I might as well since I’ll be saving $13.50. There are some interesting deals in this app. Might keep it for awhile after to see if they keep up.

Got my $25 bonus already and did the $15 back at Walmart and it was already credited into my savings. I spent about $23 at walmart. $15 back with One, $5 back with Rockstar and about $2 back with Fetch.
So overall with One, should get back $75 from Swagbucks, $25 set up bonus, $15 walmart, $25 from streaming and $15 from utilities rewards. Thanks for posting OP!

Pretty sure any deposit will work. I just transferred money from another bank account and it shows as pending with the amount I deposited.

Nope. They seeming don’t sell their own gift cards. Only third parties but then I wouldn’t get the cash back. That seems really dumb to me but I guess Netflix has a reason.

@mtnagel I think pushing from Chase becomes available much sooner than pulling from Chase. Banks play games with the float to earn money on certain transfers.

FYI, if anyone is going to do the 5% cash back utilities offer. I have Duke and they charge $1.50 fee to pay by debit card so I paid $298.50 to bring the total to $300, but Duke charged them separately, but thankfully the $298.50 went first, so I got 5% back ($14.93) instead of getting the full $15. Obviously not a big deal. At least the cash back came basically instantly.

Have another question, used the gas rewards aspect today for the first time. 45c a gallon back, activated the offer prior, got about 11 gallons s/b close to $5 back.
Paid with the One Debit Card, but nothing has shown up yet (paid about 2pm), anyone else done the gas rewards? feedback on how long it took for your cashback to credit?
