@myisland I usually wait for WM but I’m going to get one jug at Advanced Auto for the first time.
On the front page of their monthly flyer: 5 qts Mobil One, Mobil One Filter & roll of shop towels for $29.99. Submit for $17 rebate. Ends up being $12.99 for oil & filter (plus a roll of towels).

Walmart isn’t on the $12 Mobil One list, so I don’t think it will stack with the Earth Day $10 bonus.

The last 4+ Mobil One rebates I’ve done have been for purchases made at WM. That’s why @myisland said to wait for it to go on sale at WM. Last year they advertised the price at WM on the Mobil One site even though WM wasn’t on the list of participating retailers.

There are $5 rebates on Ibotta for Mobil 1 & Mobil 1 High Mileage 5 quart jugs.

Can’t believe its possible but maybe $25xx oil at WM
- $12 from Mobil One
- $10 from WM (really a credit on next purchase)
- $5 iBotta.
almost free oil?
can’t hurt to try. Worst that happens I suppose is that only one rebate & iBotta is paid.
-
@my4mainecoons In Store Only. No stores near here.
-
Yeah, but I’ll wait for Walmart price rollback first. I still have 2 jugs.

No more need to wait longer – it’s currently at that price.

For me, Ibotta also had a $0.25 generic rebate for motor oil. It did stack with the Mobil1 HM rebate.

Well, I did the deal yesterday since the Ibotta deal and the $10 oyno deal was ending yesterday. Got the Ibotta in a minute or two, still waiting on the other 2. Did get confirmation emails from both. I don’t really know what I am going to do with this oil. I have never changed mine myself (did the tractor but not a car). I usually go to a Ken Towery’s and get an oil change and tire rotation for under $20, but the last time they put synthetic in it by mistake. I still only paid $9.99 plus shop fees, but now I’m not sure I can just swap back the next time.

Has anyone seen the rebate status at mobil.rebateresearch.com for the current offer period?
-
One of my rebates just showed up with an offer date of 4/1/2018. I assume it was my first submission on 3/5/2018 with my purchase from Costco because my second purchase from walmart was not made until 4/10/2018 and submitted on 4/30/2018.
-
The ones I submitted in late March finally showed up as 5/3/2018.
-
Second rebate that I submitted on 4/30/2018 is now appearing on rebate status site with offer date 5/10/2018.
-
received e-check today
-
Received my e-check by email on 5/22 while status on site says it was mailed 5/14 for offer date 4/1/2018.
When you print it out, the front and back appear on the same page. Citi mobile app could not automatically take a picture of the check as printed. I had to cut out the check images before it was able to photograph them. Guess it didn’t help that I forgot to reset the print size to 100% (had it at 80%) in Google Chrome.
-
E-checks came in. Scanned by my mobile banking app with no problem, even the one that printed out about half size. w00t!
