Could you please explain how you do this? I didn’t see any way to get freebie coupons for milk and lettuce on Recyclebank. Thanks.

I expect that it’s just a local chain in SE Michigan - Hollywood Markets. They have free milk, free head of lettuce and $5 off 50 coupons (but frankly, we never spend $50 in one trip there - their prices are higher than the local Kroger and Meijer chains, after all the coupons, discounts, etc.
At the moment, RB is down/offline (at least for me). It’s pretty easy to find the coupons if they’re available to you, though - just in the regular Rewards section (don’t recall the category, though).

Yes, I haven’t been able to get on Recyclebank all day today.
How many points do you guys have banked so far at Recyclebank? I am really close to 35,000 points. I used to use my points fairly often when they offered gift cards in exchange, but I have been saving them up (for no apparent reason) for quite a long time now.

@mrvietnam I’d tell you, but I can’t get in there at the moment. Pretty sure it’s under 10K - maybe as low as 5K. Lettuce and Milk every month add up!
If I had to guess, RB won’t be back up 'til sometime Monday. Doesn’t seem like anyone watches the store on evenings or weekends anymore…

Probably right. RB is not working today (Sunday) either.

@mrvietnam RB is finally back up, so here’s what you were asking about: just under 3700 pts (wow, that’s down a lot from the “good old days”) and the coupons are found by either using the Food & Beverage category or by looking at Rewards Near Me. The Milk goes for 150 pts (up to 3 per month), while the Lettuce and $5 off $50 coupons go for 50 pts each (up to 2 per month each).

After I cleared my computer’s browser cookies and history, I am unable to logon to recyclebank. Same for another account in my mobile. I am totally sure about password as well as I had it saved in browser. But it’s coming as invalid. I tried to reset password, the reset password link is not working either, their system is not recognizing the captcha, I tried multiple times. Anyone else having similar issue?

@hot2004 When I collected my Daily Pledge points late, last night (shortly after midnight), I was still logged in, and everything was normal. Just now, and it might be a coincidence, I had to log in - and that worked fine the first time.
Normally, day-to-day, the login carries over, but every once in a while I do need to log in.

Interesting quirk happening to me at Recyclebank the last several days. I will click on the point makers and my balance will immediately go up by 5 or 10 points, depending on the value offered. But then, when I refresh the page, the total points goes down to what it was several days ago and when I look in my detailed point history it does not show me earning any points the last several days. I can’t re-earn those missed points because now it says “POINTS EARNED” or “READ MORE” and does not allow me to earn the points again. Really weird.
I would actually be upset if these points were worth anything.
Is this happening to anyone else?

@mrvietnam I haven’t noticed anything weird. My Activity shows all the daily and occasional additional earns, but since it doesn’t have a running total, it’s hard to be certain if anything is fishy.
What I am certain of is that month to month, I see gains that seem to be in line with the points I see in My Activity, though the total is coming down quickly as I spend 550 a month on my local coupons (discussed/detailed elsewhere on here).
I’ve also noticed that RB used to take the time to let you know that they were recycling old posts as new earn opportunities - now they don’t even do that. You can still tell by looking at the comments that are years old…sad

I contacted them in regard to this issue this morning. SWhen I initially do the daily pledge, it shows that I was rewarded the points, until I click on something else. The points then disappear. WTF!!

Looks like someone is paring/tearing down the site. Seeing lots of changes and it looks like the Daily Pledge is stuck or frozen. Maybe it’s mid-rebuild, but I’m not getting a positive vibe from what’s out there - more of limping along 'til it dies. Take a look for yourself and see if articles dated “November 30, -0001” are a concern (must be using code similar to older Hondas that had issues with 2022).
