You can easily buy 50 masks for about $11-$12 on eBay, shipped from the U.S. The filter material should be non-woven meltblown, and you may want to do your own burn and water tests. The filter layer should not burn and should not absorb water.

My battery on a brand new dell failed after about a year or two. Of course it’s not covered under warranty.

Depends on how much you use the laptop on battery. Mine is plugged in most of the time, with charging on at 50% and off at 90%. Even with minimal usage, a good battery probably would not last more than 5 years.

Nice find, dangeruss. Looking at the What’s In The Box section, it shows “Tested/Functional Dell Battery (Minimal initial battery life is 1.5 hours, many models will exceed this.)” What on earth is this 1.5 minimal initial battery life? That is not long at all if you’re working off-grid.

I have bought 4 laptops from dellrefurbished.com, always grade B. I have not encountered any battery issue. You can see the battery health in the BIOS setting/test. I also cycle it a couple of times to test it.

Selections change all the time. These are typically at least 2-3 years old. My primary PC is gen4 i5 ($200 E6440), purchased last year.

The ones I sent in early April were credited in May, so I did not bother turning in more cartridges in May (in the store). In hindsight, I should have done that anyway to claim for the April credit. Oh well.

I’ve been buying from https://www.dellrefurbished.com/ for many years. Either 6xxx or 7xxx for laptops. CPU performance has not really changed much for a long time. Check the Single Thread Rating at https://www.cpubenchmark.net/. Should be at least 1500. 40%-50% off coupons are pretty common.

Since this is an Office Depot thread, I’ll post it here. Someone on SD has confirmed this as well.

This seems to be a systematic issue with redeeming reward/merchandise certificates online. Don’t know about in-store behavior. Let’s say you have a $12.34 reward certificate. On the very last page before submitting the order, everything looks fine. After you finalize the order, only $12 of the $12.34 is applied to the order, and you’re left with $0.34 which is not usable. If you try to use a certificate that’s <$1, then nothing is applied to the order.

I picked up an online order yesterday. Email said in-store or curbside pickup. When I went to the store, the entrance and exit doors were blocked, with a small window for pickup. I was planning to ask for price match, but the store said they could not do it. Just did that through online chat.

I put a copy of the shipping label inside the package. I also wrote “20” and circled it, but they’ll probably not look at it.

Staples rewards issued today also have the 6/30 expiration date.

My 20 cartridges were delivered last Friday 4/3. Based on the stories I have heard, I don’t expect my account to be credited for a while, and the count is likely to be wrong.
