Actually had to laugh at the post. Shoprunner? didn’t know they still existed or that anyone used them. Had it once like 12 years ago, but they got crappier and crappier with linked merchants and what they provided.

One of the perks, although probably not an often used perk, of AMEX cardmembers was the free Shoprunner membership. You get to keep the free Shoprunner membership until your Shoprunner membership year runs out and two years thereafter, it seems.

Effective March 31, 2025, ShopRunner membership will no longer be a Card benefit. Card Members currently
enrolled through American Express will continue to receive their complimentary ShopRunner membership for the

Variety Wholesalers thought 200 to 400 store and a few distribution centers were worth something. They will be the new owners and keeping the Big Lots name for those stores. They’re even retaining a lot of those stores’ employees.
