I don’t know if the gift card is a prepaid Visa or if you get to select from a list. Spend $20 in a single transaction on the list of participating brands at the bottom, submit your receipt, get a $10 gift card by mail.
From 6/30 to 9/19 (submit receipt by 9/30)
$1 Spicy or Crispy Chicken Nuggets 10 piece (with additional purchase) offer too. Seems like a good deal. $1 topped fries with purchase is pretty good too, I haven’t seen that in a while.
We all know Mister C will be trying to find a way to buy 2 leafs of lettuce and half a cheese slice for $.40 cents to qualify for the additional purchase.

The game runs for long enough, it seems like one has a fairly good chance at winning most of the regular prizes. Not too bad, I suppose. The best prizes for me are outside of games—fulfilling challenges. These are YMMV. My current one is to make four $5+ purchases by 6/17 to get 1,000 Crowns or exclusive merch. I believe I’ve mentioned that you can redeem the code at the bottom of a receipt for account credit if you happen to find a receipt in the trash from a purchase by a non-rewards user.
I ain’t digging around in no trash receptacle. Not that I have actual standards, I just don’t want to get my hands dirty.
I got 25 crowns on the first day and 150 crowns today.

One Dragon Flame-Grilled Whopper® Sandwich for $5.00. Odds of receiving this Reward are 4 in 100.
LOL, a $5 dragon whopper is a prize?
Regular price is $7.59 so it’s like 33% off LOL. I have one account that’s close to a free Impossible whopper so hopefully the crowns can push me over the edge.
Pretty good odds because this instant win runs for another month and a half. Unless you go on a streak of winning a lot of food prizes with $1 purchase, naturally.
(the dragon whopper requires no $1 purchase)
no, just a $5 purchase.
Oh. Haha, a special whopper.

open your walmart app
Click account along bottom
Then Account SettingsI’ve had a lot of problems using the egc’s at Walmart as you outlined. I’ve had much better success with the walmart pay method.
Most people click pay with gift card at the self checkout machines… it’s kind of a misnomer, that button is meant for physical Walmart gift cards, not e gift cards.
Walmart Pay is decent. So long as you’re following the instructions on the self checkout machine and then the instructions on your phone and clicking which gift card you wanted to use that was loaded to your Walmart Pay account, then it’s usually fine.
We gotta get my4mainecoons to spend that gift card eventually.

@ctujackbauer I tell the cashier at the regular register to press the GC key. What form of payment do you select at the SCO? No Google involved, just learned when regular cashiers had to call for assistance using the eGC.
scan items. press pay. scan egc. (at self checkout machine)
boom.
If your egc was emailed to you, it might not have the instruction set for cashiers like they would on the good egc sites such as vcdelivery. For a regular cashier-manned machine, they would just follow the instructions.
Its been a while since I used a WM SCO but IIRC it asks how you’re paying. Do you ignore that and just scan?
Ignore that and just scan the egc.

@ctujackbauer That didn’t work for me nor for the SCO supervising cashier. I have it printed out. Regular cashiers sometimes have difficulty with it too but now I know to tell them that they have to press the ‘gift card’ key.
Don’t press the gift card key at self checkout with a Walmart e gift card. I think Google is leading you astray here.
@mistercheap said in TooCashback bonus time $2.50 wys $15 5/23 - 5/26:
Here are the directions:
Get your e gift card.
open your walmart app
Click account along bottom
Then Account SettingsAt the very top it says “Hi (name)” to the right of that is a gear symbol, click on that to get into settings.
Then wallet
Once in wallet, scroll down to ‘add new payment method’. choose gift card, follow the prompts. E GIFT CARDS ARE DEFINITELY ALLOWED/INCLUDED!
Enter info/click save card. It should then be added to your wallet offerings showing the GC balance.
To pay in store at SCO:
As above, go into your wallet where it shows all your payment methods on file.
Scroll down to “Tools To Shop In Store” Walmart Pay click and open, scan the QR code on the register screen at SCO to have the funds pulled from the GC to pay for your order. If there’s walmart cash to be earned on the order, it will be deposited into your account for the next purchase.
That’s if you’ve loaded your Walmart e gift card to Walmart Pay.
It isn’t necessary for a Walmart e gift card though. You don’t have to load it to Walmart Pay. You just scan it when you’re paying (I print mine out)
@my4mainecoons said in TooCashback bonus time $2.50 wys $15 5/23 - 5/26:
@mrvietnam are you able to use an eGC at the SCO? I tried once and was told that it had to be at a regular register. I received a $100 eGC for being in a focus group but having to use a regular register is a PIA.
I’ve used egift cards at self-checkout just fine. Print it out, then scan the barcode by placing it in front of the barcode reader when you’re trying to pay.
You don’t even have to use the manual scanner (the handheld scanner that is rarely used) at Walmart like you would have to for certain coupons, like those BarcodeBucks.
At Target, I use the app and the manual handheld scanner for gift cards loaded my app’s balance.
Fetch keeps getting better, ibotta keeps getting crappier. (although RIP Fetch daily spin wheel) Ends 5/27
Also, I had any receipt offers for Vons and Albertsons (2 any receipt offers per store) that were bumped up from 500 to 1,000 points for Fetchtopia.

@ctujackbauer did you read that article?
What has been sold is the RX files, not the stores.
Rite Aid has sold the pharmacy services of most of its stores across the United States to several rivals. The bankrupt company announced the fire sale Thursday, with CVS Pharmacy, Walgreens, Albertsons and Kroger scooping up Rite Aid’s pharmacy services at more than 1,000 locations.
64 locations in the Pacific Northwest purchased outright.

Many jobs will be saved because it is an asset purchase, according to the Rite Aid press release.
I for one welcome our AI overlords. AI checkout will be known as “Just Walk” / “Just Go” and Scan & Go is for those who wish to use the app to scan every item they put in their cart.
Both manned checkouts along with self-checkout stations will be eliminated.
I’m sure they’ll pass on the cost savings to consumers.
