@ctujackbauer shot, I just bought some Friday. so what am I supposed to do, bring the food back to the store?
Yes. Although are you sure it’s on the product list? If you bought it Friday, most of those on the product list are past the sell-by date.

hopefully @MrVietnam won’t be stuck with a bunch of gc’s.
The Big Lots near me recently reopened after we got flooded last summer. I have to assume it was worth the cost to restore it although the store has never seemed busy and I never find anything that can’t be bought for less elsewhere. The most MrVietnam will be out is a $15 gift card that I only paid about $12 for. There were only 3 Big Lots stores within 10 miles of my house when I left. Hopefully at least one will remain in business.
Buena Park is a good store, it’s just in a somewhat-questionably sketchy area. Use up that gift card
Thanks for the info that Buena Park is still open. That means 2 out of the 3 Big Lots in my area survived the cut! With that said I think I will stick to a Walmart gift card the next time TCB has a bonus available.
I believe Walmart has a low maximum number of gift cards you can use in one transaction when purchasing online (3, 4, or 5 gift cards.) I don’t know about the in-store limit.
Target lets you combine gift cards into a singular balance with the app.

Cheaper menu items, more sugary items and this offer-- doesn’t sound like they’re doing well.
Private company looking to go public in 2024 or 2025.
You have to be profitable for a year to do that. The best way is to discount expensive stuff via coupons, it decreases margins but gooses up sales revenue quarter after quarter for a year. The problem is that if you discount long enough, you’ll think you’re shopping at Kohl’s and not buying a sandwich and soup combo.

RE: P&G Good As Gold Rebate $15 WYS $50 or $5 WYS $20 (different rebate) (limit 2) ends 9/8/24
@dilly101 said in P&G Good As Gold Rebate $15 WYS $50 or $5 WYS $20 (different rebate) (limit 2) ends 9/8/24:
Target stores have a Target Circle deal this week that gives you a $15 Target gift card when you spend $50 or more on select home care essentials, and many of these same products are included (Bounty, Charmin, Gain, Tide, Cascade…).
There’s no reason that same receipt can’t be used for this rebate, right? $50 worth for $20 would be a really great deal.As long as it isn’t a coupon. Since this is a gift card received back, there is a little risk that P&G looks at it as a coupon instead of a gift card received for purchase. IIRC, Target shows the qualifying items for the gift card back in print on the receipt.
Here’s an example of the risk. I bought 4 qualifying P&G items and it shows up as a coupon on the e-receipt (online purchase) even though I just got a gift card back. P&G would most definitely count the gift card as a coupon in my example, see picture:
The discounted total even shows up as the item total on the receipt too.

RE: Redbox kiosks to go away; parent company changes from Chapter 11 to Chapter 7
I was a fan of Redbox: they were in every store that was within walking distance, they carried blu-rays, and they served rural customers as well as us urbanites. I had over 200 rentals in a span of about 14 years and I had spent $52 out of pocket after promo codes and free rentals. So about 26 cents per rental.
That company totally went off the rails and literally paid nobody for the last 2 years. The pandemic may have jumpstarted its date with destiny (bankruptcy) but they were a unique store in its time of post-Blockbuster.

Gotta love a 217 page pdf of qualifying products - https://snippdocs.blob.core.windows.net/docs/Nestle_Summer_Rebate_2007553/Qualifying Product List.pdf
It would be soul-destroying to buy $40 worth of Nestle groceries and then if you misread the qualifying UPC and it put you under $40, disqualifying you from the rebate.

RE: IBOTTA CVS & BONUS: Shop 2 times at CVS Stores by 7/6/24, earn 5% CB and $5 bonus for 2 visits
They expired my CVS bonus early. I suppose I can resort to taking screenshots of this bonus after completing the first transaction. I waited more than 24 hours, only to see my bonus go poof
Ever since ibotta started trading as a public corporation this year, I’ve had more problems with bonuses disappearing and customer service issues for rebates that I earned than I’ve had in ibotta’s first 8 years.

Amazon changes minimum Amazon gift card purchase amount and balance reloads to $5.00
You already can’t buy a third-party gift card using an Amazon gift card. Now, Amazon has increased the minimum amount for an Amazon e-gift card to $5.00 and also changed the one-time balance reload amount to $5.00 too.
This is important for those who have prepaid virtual credit cards where you’re trying to send an Amazon gift card to yourself.

Have not seen any posts here lately and have not received any bonus codes from Disney.
Anyone know what is going on?DMI restricted movie ticket purchases to 100 points, no matter how many tickets you buy. Disney has been going through a cost-cutting phase, and DMI was one of the targets. Customer service is sparse, the ability to earn points has been severely curtailed.
The other two major movie studios with rewards programs recently shut theirs down entirely. Sony Rewards shut down a few days ago, you have until the end of the year to redeem points but can’t earn them. Universal All-Access Rewards at least gave users notice before shutting down.
