RE: $5 Classic 10" Hanging Baskets (reg. $9.98) in-store only @Home Depot thru May 29
I happened to stop at Lowes this morning and they had some select varieties 2 for $9 (reg. $10.98 each). I didn’t look too closely but it seemed like only the “grayish”-colored hanging pots were included in the sale. I saw pansies and (shade-loving) impatiens, although there might have been other varieties. I wouldn’t buy pansies if you want them for summer color, not in this area anyway. Here in the Northeast the blossoms are beautiful in the spring but the plants don’t do well in summer. If you then cut them back they’ll regenerate in late summer, which is ok I guess if you want yellows and purples then but to me they look out of place in the fall.

RE: One Day Member-Exclusive Event, Saturday, May 11, 2019 Online and In-Store @ Sam’s Club
The Member’s Mark trunk organizer for $14.98 (reg. $19.98) on page 6 is one of the best purchases I ever made. Unlike other organizers I’ve used, this one “accordions” to the number of compartments you want, either one, two or three. When you want it out of the way, you can fold it practically flat and fasten it shut with the Velcro fasteners. Comes with a nice size padded cooler that you can use separately or set down in one of the compartments. Also has inside and a zippered outside pocket. Does a great job of keeping groceries and car paraphernalia from rolling around in the back of our car.

Oh well, glad most were just not my style so I only bought two pairs. If they don’t work out (or fall apart a week later), at least I’m only out $10 and some change. -

@dilly101 That’s nothing unusual for Wallyworld Brickseek deals. I’ve driven over an hour because they’re showing 20 or 30 of an item, get there, and they’ve been sold out for weeks.
Thanks; good to know.

RE: Hot Wheels Ultimate 50-Car Collectors Gift Pack Set $5 @ Walmart B&M - YMMV
Just checked and Brickseek is still showing 32 available at the store where I struck out last night. If it was only showing a handful available I could understand why there might not actually be any there, but 32??
-
RE: Hot Wheels Ultimate 50-Car Collectors Gift Pack Set $5 @ Walmart B&M - YMMV
Got all excited and drove 20 miles to a location that showed 32 in stock. Scoured the toy aisles and clearance sections, and even showed the image of the Hot Wheels gift pack (but not the price) to a kid stocking the toy shelves. He said they didn’t have any. Oh well, it was worth a try.

KOHL'S B&M Up to 90% off men's toiletry travel bags, games, gag gifts, wide variety of items (in men's department) YMMV
Stopped by our local Kohl’s yesterday and like last year at this time, buried toward the back wall of their men’s department were tons of random gift items all sticker priced from 60% to 90% off. Eclectic mix, to put it mildly, from the useful (sets of mens Game of Thrones socks, Star Wars pajamas, travel toiletry bags, mens slippers, grooming sets, texting gloves, bag hook for attaching a purse or bag to a table or shopping cart, gadget to magnify the screen when watching movies on your phone, games, books, screen cleaners, playing cards, toddler’s inflatable pool floats, desk accessories, back scratchers, head massagers) to gag gifts (GIANT wine glasses, drinking games, beer holders, coffee mugs with funny sayings on them, some kind of big inflatable deer or bear game where you try to toss things into a hole on the side). Much, much more. Some “only” 60% or 80% off but probably half the items were 90% off. Saved another 30% because I had a peel and reveal discount coupon for Kohl’s credit card holders that arrived via snail mail a week or two ago.

RE: Target: Spend $15+ on Select Skin Care Items, Get $5 Target GC Free + Free Store Pickup
If you have access to the coupon inserts in the Sunday newpaper, today there were several coupons for skin care products which would make this an even better deal: $1 and $3 off Nivea, $1, $2 and $3 off Eucerin, $1.50 and $2 off Cetaphil.
I just have to hide the products I buy that don’t have the little bunny logo signifying they do not test on animals. Otherwise our 6-year-old granddaughter will very matter-of-factly mention “there’s rabbit’s blood lotion in your bathroom” again. -

@kohlspowrshopper said in GE StayBright 100-Count 24.75-ft Multicolor or Warm White Led Plug-In Christmas String Lights Led Plug-In Christmas String Lights $4.98 + Free S&H w/ MyLowes @ Lowe's:
I’m looking for solar-powered string lights, but couldn’t bring myself to paying $45 for a 100-light string the other day…
Looks like Lowe’s has a 450-count, 102.5ft string of white lights for just $13…
Will have to check those out…
If you do end up trying solar-powered, I hope you have better luck than I did. Bought several strands on Amazon thinking they’d be perfect for areas of our yard with no nearby electrical outlets. Two important details I didn’t think of ahead of time: Shorter December days mean less charging time (plus here in the Northeast, we’re lucky to see sunshine one day a week). And it gets dark so early the lights come on at 4:30 pm then shut off before 9:00 pm. The type I bought are great in the summer but worthless at this time of year.

RE: Lowe's: Energizer LED Swivel Light Bar $3.05 (Save 83%) YMMV
Picked up my order, nice light that will work where I need it but dear Lord they need to fire whoever packaged this thing. Impossible to force the 6 AA batteries into the battery compartment so in frustration I checked the reviews and sure enough, saw that I wasn’t the only one. Turned out two screws in a small plastic bag are included, and some Einstein decided a good place to put them would be in an inaccessible, unseen area at the very bottom of the long battery compartment where they were stuck. (Same thing happened with the second one I opened…they were stuck at the bottom even before I tried to put in the batteries.) Had to use a tiny Phillips head screwdriver to remove 5 screws on the back of the flashlight. Still couldn’t completely remove the back, but loosened it enough that with the help of a pair of eyebrow tweezers, a toothpick and some choice words was finally able to reach the bag and pull it out. A mere 20 minutes later, batteries installed!

Thanks so much OP. These look like just what I need; ordered a bunch for local pickup. RE: Roomba by iRobot 680 Robot Vacuum $74 or Roomba iRobot 801 Robot Vacuum with Manufacturer's Warranty $109 @ Walmart B&M - YMMV
Went on a wild goose chase to a store that showed 2 of each in stock. None to be found. Employee working in that department mentioned someone had already called this morning to see if they had them, plus before I left I overheard another customer asking about them. The deal must be fairly well known. Oh well, at those prices it was worth a try. Thanks anyway OP.

RE: Coleman 70-Quart Xtreme Marine Cooler w/ 2-Pack 30oz Ozark Trail Vacuum Insulated Double Wall Stainless Steel Tumblers $37.46 + FS @ Walmart
I bought this same bundle at Walmart last year; well worth it. Used the cooler at our ungodly hot 4th of July party last week, and it’s so well insulated that with only a few blocks of “blue ice” the drinks were still cold 24 hours later (and the “ice” was still mostly frozen). Strong enough to double as extra seating too. As for the tumblers, they keep drinks cold just as long as my husband’s much more expensive Yeti; I know because out of curiosity we tested them to see how long it would take the same amount of ice to melt, and the difference was negligible.

RE: Himalayan Salt Night Light - $4.08 + free shipping w/ Prime or $25+ orders
Under the heading “I don’t really need these but the price was right”, I ordered two of the cylindrical, which appears to be the only style available. When I first clicked on the link, another more natural-looking rock-shape that I would have preferred was also shown, but now that one doesn’t seem to be available. Total with the coupon code came to $8.16. Thanks OP.

@dilly101 said in 15% Off Select Gift Cards (Lowe's, Olive Garden, IHOP, Outback, etc.) @ Dollar General B&M, Exp 05-12-2018:
I made two in-store purchases at two different Lowe’s this week and at the bottom of both receipts is a coupon offering “$5 off your next in-store purchase of $25, valid 5/17 - 5/20”. Needs to be used at the same store where the coupon was issued. I was told the offer will still print on receipts through today; not sure if will end then. Can’t be combined with any other coupons or discounts, but you can still save even more by paying with a Lowes gift card from this week’s Dollar General deal.
TY. How much did you spend on each receipt? I’m wondering if there is a minimum spend required to get the $5 off $25 offer. It would be great if you could buy a $1 item to get the $5 off $25 receipt offer then using it with your 15% off Dollar General GC since, at 20% off, that would be better than stacking with a 10% off coupon.
One purchase was $24.26 before tax, the other $28.80.
Also, I just returned from another trip to Dollar General to buy another gift card, and noticed two things. Their gift card selection was different from those in the ad above, and their sign listed the qualifying 15% off cards as Gap, Old Navy, Kohl’s (I think), and a few others. No mention of Lowe’s, but the 15% automatically came off the Lowe’s cards I bought. Also I didn’t pay with cash, I used the MasterCard tied to my checking account and there was no problem with that. -

RE: Ozark Trail 30-Ounce Double-Wall, Vacuum-Sealed Tumbler $2 in-store only @ Walmart - YMMV
I got two of these for free as part of a deal when I bought a Coleman cooler from Walmart last year. They really are amazing at keeping drinks cold or hot. I’ve left a cold drink in a hot car for hours and come back to find there are still ice cubes in it. Yes they’re a Yeti-knockoff but at a fraction of the cost and work just as well (for the sake of argument we did a little experiment at home to see which one kept the same amount of ice cold longer, and it was pretty much a tie).
Note that at 30-ounces, this is pretty large and although narrower at the base so that it still fits in most cup holders, when full it can be a little top-heavy so be careful going around curves (as I learned the hard way). -
RE: Wendy's Double Stack Hamburgers $1 starts 2/26 (at participating locations)
Thanks Mr. C.
I just stopped at the drive-up at a Wendy’s in upstate NY. The menu priced the double stack at $2.69, so I asked if they were selling them for $1 and was told yes. When I got to the window and asked if you have to mention the $1 deal to get that price, the girl laughed and said, “Yes, we’re not supposed to advertise it…it’s a secret”. So it’s like the summer promo they’ve run in the past where any kid’s meal is $1.99…unless you don’t ask, then you get charged full price. -

Looks like the party’s over on this one. I tried to do the same thing (order 8 unsalted) and it’s now showing “maximum quantity: 2”.
That’s odd. I was just able to add 10 of the unsalted to my cart and they remained even on the secure checkout screen. Same thing for the 14oz cashew halves and pieces.
You’re right, I was able to add 8 to my cart just now. But it won’t accept my $10 off code.
At the risk of sounding thick as a brick, does it mean $10 off after you place 3 orders, or $10 off EACH of your first 3 orders?I’m not sure what $10 code you’re using (don’t post it if it’s a personal code not published elsewhere) and they each have different terms. However, I only recall seeing Jet offer codes that take the discount off in the cart, and definitely for those 3 time use new member codes. Now, the 10% JetCash offer on the unsalted nuts and cashews is only awarded/available to spend weeks after purchase. If you have the Jet email in which you received the code, the terms are in the fine print at the bottom of the email (or you can try googling the code to find the terms).
Via snail mail, I received the same offer that member “jtownsucks46” mentioned a week ago; a large post card offering “$10 off your first 3 orders” along with a unique code.
