“James Bodenstedt is the CEO of MUY! Companies, which owns Wendy’s, Taco Bell and Pizza Hut franchises across the country.” faced backlash over donating to Trump.
Wonder if it’s the same one?

I’ve been buying from https://www.dellrefurbished.com/ for many years. Either 6xxx or 7xxx for laptops. CPU performance has not really changed much for a long time. Check the Single Thread Rating at https://www.cpubenchmark.net/. Should be at least 1500. 40%-50% off coupons are pretty common.
OMG there is NO selection there, just 3 models in multiples. Are those off-lease computers from companies?

this might fit the bill, Y’all would have to upgrade to SSD in future though. But as a poor person, it’s easier to piece together than a lump sum. one below has SSD;

I personally would go with the one with 1 yr warranty. Laptops these days are made with disposable parts so 1 yr is about it’s lifespan. He may get more out of it, but manufacturers build it cheap on purpose.
I would have said https://www.walmart.com/ip/HP-15-6-Touchscreen-Intel-Pentium-Silver-N5000-4GB-SDRAM-500GB-HDD-15-bs244wm-Scarlet-Red/932224106 but it’s out of stock. $400 isn’t alot laptop wise, A dependable one will cost $1000+ -

RE: free streaming rentals of WB film "Just Mercy," starring Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Foxx til 6/30 (released Jan 2020)
@ctujackbauer said in free streaming rentals of WB film "Just Mercy," starring Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Foxx til 6/30 (released Jan 2020):
Just Mercy was probably the best historical drama in a while. If you count the mid-80’s as historical.
The director also made an amazing debut movie, Short Term 12. If you have a library card, most of them give you access to Hoopla, which has that movie for free. Highly recommended.
The link is below without a link preview:
https://www.hoopladigital.com/title/11165552I would imagine most don’t, you are lucky.
"How much does hoopla cost?
Hoopla is free to public library users in cities that sign up for it, but do come at a cost to the libraries that adopt it. When a user borrows an item, libraries pay between $0.99 to $2.99 per title. " No way a small town library can afford that, I’m not even sure how a metro one can either in these times. -

@frugalfreak this is just a warning: go into store with code, do not enter credit card info online at samsclub.com with no padlock.
How did you get to the insecure page?
@dangeRuss, go to sams club join site with link on this page, add email address, get email, click on link in email, the first page is fine, you fill in your name, email, info for family member to get card, etc, THEN hit “next”, the next page ask for payment, THAT page is the insecured one, the one that should be secure at the least. -
